★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I met with Mr. Powell in June and arranged for investments to begin in July. There was an error with paperwork so that didn't happen. As Mr. Powell was heading on a vacation, we told him we were content to wait until he returned. We corrected the paperwork that he required and submitted it. Nothing happened. Money was not withdrawn as we were told it would. We contacted him several times via email, text and phone and had no reply. Finally when we said we were going elsewhere, he told us that he had neglected our file for so long, we would have to redo everything. We decided to go elsewhere. It seems to me that we weren't worth his while financially; in other words, he wouldn't make enough off of us so it was easier to cut us loose. When I said this in an email, he didn't disagree and simply said he would do the same thing if he were in our shoes. This was an incredibly unprofessional interaction and we will absolutely never darken the door of Norm Powell's office again.
