I've been coming here for about a year and it's the exceptional lattes that bring me back again and again. They also have a great baker - I love their cheese croissants. The no waste concept definitely helps! I get to bring in my favourite mug and for the croissant I usually take it in my (sanitized) hand, as it gets devoured pretty quickly anyway, but you can have it in a plate if you are sitting there or bring your own container. I sometimes bring my 7 year old son with me and they even have a 'kids latte' in addition to the usual hot chocolate for kids. If you don't bring a mug with you, they have ceramic mugs that they will loan out to you! I remembered to bring mine back and even donated a few of my own mugs (which were gathering dust in my pantry anyway). Everyone who works there is dedicated, wonderful and friendly and I get the warmest feelings to start my day off right when I go there. Shout-outs to Becks, Mira and Yuri just to name a few! I just hope, selfishly, that it stays a hidden gem and I don't have to fight throngs of people to get my amazing lattes in the morning!

If you want to stay and sit on the patio they will give you a mug. Anytime I have to run an errand I now bring my coffee mug so I can stop by, or if I have time I grab a mug of drip coffee with a breakfast sandwich. Also while your there checkout the RePlace (connected store) for some great reusable items/ideas.

I was unprepared but I'll bring my own mug next time. Great waste-free small business worthy of support. And the sweetest service ever :)

Finding this carefully set up and designed jewel of a coffee that’s doing hits part to change that, in the heart of the Danforth was fantastic. Their pastries are out of this world, the staff is warm and welcoming and the place’s vibe is just as good as it gets to enjoy a good coffee, do some reading or get some heads down work done in a different set up. Plus they’re really walking the talk, if you purchase a reusable container, I got a Miir 16oz wide mouth tumbler, you get free drinks, I think it was 5 back when I bought mine, not sure how many are they offering nowadays. But it’s nice to get some high quality drinks just for buying responsibly. Plus inside they have a sister store that operates in the same local, where you can find some nice personal care bulk products and reusable containers.

Was also able to customize my order with minimal sweetness too. ☕ Bonus was the live entertainment this morning, playing Christmas tunes. ??
