★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An ideal place to launch/haul out SUPs, kayaks, canoes, etc, when portaging between Portage Inlet (upper Gorge) and Thetis Cove (Esquimalt Harbour). The total length of the portage is about 1 km via the pathway behind Shoreline school, crossing over the Island Highway using the E&N trail, and following the trail through Portage Park to Thetis Cove.
