Had them several times: choc is thick, doesn't melt in bag, not too sweet; cream is tasty and enough spread throughout; nice soft dough base. Great product and deal for $1 each. Will be trying more menu items (Danishes, butter tarts, etc)... and friendly/helpful staff!...recently tried: v good large choc chip cookies & amazing oatmeal raisin cookies!... great Filipino products: asado (pork bun), ube cheese pandesal.

It's a small space that just smells like cakey goodness. They have a good variety of donuts, cookies, muffins, breads and other goodies. The prices are awesome for what you get and all of the staff are wonderful and dedicated to what they do. A one time visit has turned into regular outings and they are my go to for donuts that are served at my special events! Give them a try, you won't leave hungry or disappointed!

But they have other stuff too like freshly baked bread and awesome donuts - rated #1 by blogTO in Scarborough. The donuts are a good value and what's best about it is the icing especially on the chocolate dip, Boston cream, vanilla dip, doesn't melt even in hot weather. The Boston cream's topping is also not sweet which is great. The ensaymada or Filipino Brioche is also quite excellent and a good value the more you buy. It is soft and topped off with butter, sugar and grated cheese. Goes really well with a coffee. Friendly service. The old school antique screen door adds a nice homely touch.

The man working the counter was extremely pleasant, patient and helpful. He gave my girls a couple of their timbits and they absolutely love the donuts from here. And today I tried the ensalmada (sp?). It was delicious. I highly recommend the donuts, empanadas, pork Buns, and everything else they make. As far as the donuts go, the dutchies, cinnamon twists and the Boston cream are all great. The Boston cream, in particular, is a stand out. It has cream along the entire donut. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I hope it receives plenty of support from the neighbourhood. It's so much better than going to Tim's. It's super affordable too and everything I've had from there has been delicious.

The best baked goods donuts pastries and pies.Their ensaimadas are to die for. Great friendly service wished I had found this earlier.If you don't go you don't know what you're missing.
r	reuben carrick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm always searching for the best donuts and cinnamon rolls, fritters etc. So I searched out a local bakery and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I recently visited the Port Union Bakery. First of all the lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. The bakery itself is small which is totally fine. It's a little on the run-down side, maybe dated is more accurate. I was hoping to try some other items but they weren't too appealing, at the very least I wanted to try the donuts so I purchased 1 dozen assorted. ($10.50) While I disagree that these are "Scarborough's best kept secret" as I have seen reviewed, I will say they were ok. They were not stale but not that pillowy fresh which is what I look for. I went in at 12pm. The Dutchie was the best out of the box. The Boston Cream was probably second best. The custard inside was good. I had high hopes. Was it bad? Absolutely not. Can I find better donuts closer to home? Yes. If I lived in the neighborhood I would probably come by again. Do I recommend this business? No. I won't go out of my way to visit again. I wasn't wow'd.
