Love the recent renovations and upgrades! Very current library for the size of the community. Fantastic staff.

Why would a library close at 5:00p.m? That's way too early. What about people that work full time. Its just such a downer because I can never get over there. The Welland library is open until 9.

Great selection, miss some of the staff that have gone, very accomodating here, it's a pretty nifty place. (re:complaints- it's a free resource! if you don't like it... don't go, lol) I really appreciate this place.

little inconvenient but what can I say, I have so many memories of this place, some supper wholesome people (and some not so wholesome people), and I like the atmosphere.

every time i’ve been in this library, the only other patrons have been older people who sit in the corner and read the newspaper, and i’m the only one actually browsing, and i now understand why; the staff are rude and overbearing. be prepared for them to treat you like a stupid child. they are always going above and beyond to enforce their ridiculous, completely unnecessary guidelines. a severe borrowing limit in a library that’s always empty? seems a bit counterproductive. titles that you can’t actually lease and can only read while in the library? do they even know what a library is? if you can look past all that bs, their selection is actually pretty good, but you’re still better off going somewhere else nearby, like dunnville or wainfleet. the staff there are much more accommodating.

This is quickly becoming my second home. Getting used to the staff - there were some really terrific people there years ago who made my Dad feel like family. He was gravely ill, and a staff member, who has since retired, would send him cards and flowers when he was hospitalized. She was top-notch, very caring and took an interest in everybody. The staff working there now has big shoes to fill, which they are trying their best to do. I love the library, but find that some staff members are cool and have been at times unable to help me with a request. I do love the library itself, it is very airy and much brighter after a renovation years ago. However, I wish the books were shelved differently. They need to do some reorganizing in that respect as they are very disorganized. I am sure it would be quite a feat to organize all their books in a logical alphabetical order though. All in all, I give this library props. I visit at least twice a week, so that says a lot!

Always helpful staff! A lifesaver through Covid times with curbside and email. Great suggestions. Lots of tech help managing the new system and my account.
