★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ponoka County is a beautiful place full of beautiful people, however I do not recommend Ponoka County as a place to live if you are looking to build a life, home and raise a family on these lands. The county will not protect its residents, you could very well end up living in an industrial project despite being on agriculturally zones lands. Conversely, if you are looking to construct a questionable project, this is probably a great place to be able to push that through. In fact many of the 5 star reviews on here come from people involved with the “questionable projects” I mentioned and are not residents of Ponoka county.
