★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely short trail in nature! July 2020, about 6 feet of the trail is under about a foot of water...and mosquitos are treacherous. My 5 year old loved exploring this serene area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow such an inspiring place of solitude and generosity combined. Thank you to the Pollock family for the wonderful donation, and lots of cool stories on plaques! Go see the ancient history uncovered there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pollock Island Loop is a 1.3 kilometer lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and snowshoeing. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
The sixteen-acre Pollock property was donated to the City of Winnipeg by entrepreneur Iris Pollock in memory of her husband Edward Pollock and his mother Tina Pollock, who had originally purchased the land from the Parish of St. Norbert in 1945. The park forms an island when the nearby La Salle and Red rivers flood in spring. Some other Manitoba places you can check on my ig mr_aleksei
