Very professional. Had my furnace replaced in 2015, and just had AC installed this fall. Both times the team was awesome. Routed all lines etc where I wanted them, clean tidy work. Listened to all my concerns and made sure the work was done right. Highly recommend Polar for any heating/hvac work!

Excellent service. I was very surprised that Kriss, the tech who helped install the new furnace was so polite and respectful. Both him and Clint did a great job! Most trade people I have met in PG are pretty abrupt and condescending, not with these guys. Betty at the office was a great help, doing all the paper work for the rebates from Fortis and submitting it. The office cat (Abby?) did an awesome job keeping the chair next to me warm. The estimate was accurate and work completed promptly and leaving the basement cleaner than when they started. The new furnace is amazing.

Dave Lennox Signature Collection heat pump Model No.: XP-15-024-230 - 2-ton Serial No.: 5809A07002 With an Aspen evaporator coil Invoice No.: NR2070 Invoice Date: July 23, 2009 Amount: $5,717.25 Options: XP15, XP14, and 13HXP I bought a heat pump from Polar which was installed on July 14, 2009. Critical thought: My house is 60 years old. I wonder how "air-tight" it is? I also have a 1:12 roof pitch of tar and gravel. I doubt I have much insulation in the limited "attic". I wonder if my house is experiencing "seepage" of hot air from the outside while my heat pump is trying to cool-down my house during this unprecedented heat wave? Any thoughts or suggestions? UPDATE: Monday, June 28, 2021. I am more than ever convinced that the unit installed is too small and inefficient for my house. We are currently in the midst of an unprecedented heat wave during the summer of 2021 and I can not get the air temperature inside my house down below 26ºC. I've got 5 fans working just to stay cool. The temperature forecast for tomorrow is 41ºC - which is an all time historical maximum for Prince George. UPDATE: July 17, 2018 I think my heat pump is too small for the size of my house. It's a Lennox Model No.: XP-15-024-230 and my house is 1,000 square feet. The HVAC "RUN CAPACITOR" 35-5 FMD 370/440V ROUND has broken down twice in the middle of the hot summer weather. I just now contacted the Service Manager who ordered a new part. It will arrive in about a week and a Service Technician will install it in about a week. UPDATE: July 24, 2018 I waited a week for the part to arrive. The capacitor was replaced in under 10 minutes. I was charged $150 as follows: $25 for the part, $20 for vehicle transportation, $100 for labour, and $5 for taxes. Plus, the old Polar service truck left a puddle of motor oil in the middle of my asphalt driveway.

Thank you for sending out somebody in a timely manner for a possible furnace fix. Happy to find out everything was okay, the inspection was thorough and informative. Will be using this company for any future HVAC.

Had Polar replace my furnace and water heater. Excellent service! Clean, efficient, courteous, and timely. In talking to the representatives, they initially thought supply chain issues would hold up getting a new furnace for 6 months but it turned out to take just over a month to get it done! And just in time for the cold snap so very much appreciated.

Polar was amazing from the first interaction to the last. They never pushed a new furnace on us even though ours was old and failing. They did everything they could do to fix ours and explored options for us before we decided to go ahead and replace it. Betty was an absolute pleasure to deal with in person, on the phone and via email. Eric was the first tech we dealt with and he went above and beyond every single time he was at our place. He really cares about his customers and doing a great job. Kris was also totally awesome with the install. It’s never fun spending large amounts of money unexpectedly but thanks to Polar the experience was way less stressful. I will recommend Polar over and over again. Excellent customer service, can’t thank you guys enough.
