★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poco Marine is easily the best marine shop in the lower mainland, no question. They have a huge selection on deck, and they have access to anything you may need in their droves of catalogs. Even in the unlikely event they don't carry what you are looking for, the staff will always point you in the direction of successfully acquiring what you need. The staff are very pleasant to deal with and are genuinely friendly people. Their prices are also always significantly lower than other marine shops around like stvstn. Awesome shop, personally I always have a good time when I go there and it makes a part of the never ending boat fixing life a little easier ?
I see some pretty nasty reviews on this page, and all I can say, is that it was definitely the customers making some sort of error, maybe they were having a bad day, or not following up on their own orders, expecting themselves to be at the top of the priority list even though I'm sure hundreds if not thousands of people call there every week, or perhaps a distributor error. This isn't a massive corporation with 50 people constantly calling everyone back, it's a locally owned shop, and a really good one at that.
Poco Marine has never messed around with my orders and I'm not even a big customer, just a regular guy with a sailboat and if it weren't for these guys, my boat troubles would be levels of magnitude more difficult and expensive to fix.
I have never had any trouble getting through on the phones, I have had multiple email conversations with multiple members of the staff, and for sure they are NOT in the business of jerking people around.
Highly reccomend these guys, they won't let you down and they aren't trying to gouge you on price. I believe they will even price match on items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had called to confirm that they had what we were looking to buy, let them know we would be ordering online, all good. Placed order, and it never shipped. They sold the item to someone else, but instead of letting us know, they waited for us to contact them, which was nearly impossible. Never picked up or returned phone calls or emails, almost a month had passed. We went to store to see what they had and follow up on our order, which was where they told us they cancelled our order because we gave them a bad google review. Not a sorry for the mix up or delay either just a we shouldn't of given them the bad review, you know things are hard. How hard is it to answer your phone or return emails to a customer who you took money from. Hmm please tell me a reason we would change our review?? If they had told us from the start that they had only one in stock we would asked them to hold it and we would of driven there to pick it up. It would of changed the whole experience wouldn't you say. Never never never order from Poco Marine LTD horrible customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered 2 items online and never heard back for 3 weeks. Finally we gave up waiting and called to hear they didn’t have one in stock so nothing was being shipped out. I asked them to ship the one in stock out which they did. They said to wait and see and the other item could come in. I waited 2 weeks and didn’t hear back so I called for an update. They had no update so I chose to get a refund which they said would go through in a couple days. Once again 2 weeks goes by and nothing shows up and no refund. We called again and was told someone would work on it. Finally it came through after 3 phone calls that day.
With that said, in person they have some great products and decent customer service IN Person. I would recommend only shopping in store but not online as trying to get your money back is very difficult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered AND PAID FOR a Planar diesel heater on December 11th. I recently emailed..no reply so then sent a message on their Facebook page asking the status of my order. No replies on either. All I want is a reply particularly since they have my money. If this doesn't get a response I'll have to call and see what's going on.

I am a resident of the province of Quebec.
For several months I have been actively searching for the Garmin trolling motor all over Canada.
Neither during the Black Friday nor during the Christmas discounts did I manage to find a profitable offer in any online store.
By chance, in a search engine, I came across this store and today I am the proud owner of Garmin Force.
The most attractive price and the highest quality service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i dont normally leave reviews but in this case its extremely necessary. I order a bennett control box from there website which stated was in stock and ready to ship..
Four days go buy without a confirmation email fom Poco marine.
I called and spoke to an associate who said the item was not in stock and has been ordered. They would not recieve for a week.
He said the person in charge ordering was not in, but he would have them call me buy the end of the day. In which I never recieved a call back.
The following day I recieved an email saying they were unable to fulfill my order., despite it being listed on there website as in stock and ready to ship.
I should have recieved a call from the customer service with an explanation. Instead I recieved a cowardly email along with my refund and no explanation.
BEWARE!!!!!
