About PMU by Jennifer King
Hi there, my name is Jennifer. I was a professional makeup artist for over 15 years working on movies, television shows, commercials, print ads, weddings etc. I loved making clients feel confident and beautiful while having the opportunity to be creative.
I eventually left the makeup industry and ended up becoming a registered occupational health and safety professional. I've been in the OH&S industry for over 12 years and have had the opportunity to learn how do do things in a safe manner while ensuing necessary compliance with health and safety regulations. While I've loved what I've been fortunate to learn and accomplish while protecting people and keeping them safe, I've longed for the good old days of makeup, being creative and meeting great people!
Fast forward to 2019. I stumbled upon permanent makeup by accident and fell in love with the idea of combining my creative side with my technical side and applying health and safety with permanent makeup! I've been trained by the best in the industry in microblading, powder brows, nano brows, combo brows, lip blush, color adjustments, saline tattoo removal and fine line tattoos. I have a business license from the City of Airdrie, am AHS Certified, have blood borne pathogen training and skin fundamental training so I understand skin and how the art of micropigmentation affects it.
You can be confident in my multifaceted experiences, knowledge and training knowing that your in the of best hands for all your permanent makeup needs. I use the highest quality pigments, tools and aftercare products available on the market. These products are seriously incredible and game changing for clients!

I left so happy with the finished result that I booked in to have my lips done too. Jennifer is one of the best for permanent makeup artists and makes you feel so comfortable during the entire process. I have saved so much time and money getting permanent makeup. I strongly recommend her to have permanent makeup done.

Leading up to my appointment, Jennifer sent me a message to introduce herself and had a list of services she offered. Very interpersonal and friendly! If I had any questions or hesitations, she would answer in a timely manner and assure me that she is here to help!
Her space is soooo cute and very clean! She is just so welcoming and kind, it’s hard to come by these types of people these days. I really enjoyed the walk though and step by step on what she is doing next so I was completely aware of everything going one. I would highly recommend visiting Jennifer to get your eye brows ready for hot girl summer ;) Thank you Jennifer!!! <3

She took the time to explain every single step of the process and to make sure I was comfortable and happy. I love all her educational info and the work she posts. Jennifer is extremely professional and patient, and really took the time to explain the procedure and healing process in detail, which put me at ease about doing something so ‘permanent’ to my face! Meticulous and incredible attention to detail. She is also super personable and down-to-earth, which made for a really comfortable experience for someone on the shier and more introverted side. One of the only services I have had done where the artist actually follows up to see how I am healing, which truly shows how much Jennifer cares about her work and her clients. Her spa-like studio is a total bonus – it’s absolutely adorable (on top of being extremely clean)! I am so happy that I put my trust in Jennifer to give me the brows I've always wanted and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone considering getting theirs done.

I have had my brows done in the past by professionals in Palm Springs, that do not compare to the brows done by Jennifer. She is confident, capable and so pleasant.
Jen took as much time as I required insuring I was happy with the color, the the shape and continually made sure I was comfortable, and constantly checked my pain level throughout the entire procedure.
Jen advised me what she was doing throughout the procedure, always checking; adequate numbing and comfort. She showed me her plans and her progress throughout the session. She provided the advise and assistance I required to make good decisions she knew I would be most happy with.
Her studio is spotless, her concern for personal safety is impressive and her skills and bedside manner are unsurpassed. Her follow-up was timely and genuine, I felt at ease instantly and felt important and appreciated from the time I was greeted (even 10 minutes early)
I would recommend Jennifer King to anyone looking to get their brows done in a safe and welcoming environment by a professional who genuinely cares that her clients are happy with her artistry and her practice.
