Found a few dark coarse hairs in my bread . Told my waiter , he said he would refund my meal . At the end , he charged me my meal . No sorry , no manager came to see me regarding this disgusting discovery , NEVER GOING BACK!!! And I will report to food inspection for this restaurant

Very overpriced restaurant service was very nice however very very slow the prices are outrageous for what you get $16 grilled cheese that was tasteless I don't think it was two year old cheddar I think it was Kraft cheddar. The $6 french fries were soggy. They did have a reasonably priced wine list.

Perfect place to eat and/or have drinks before a concert or a show in the area. I would not recommend this place for a date or for food if you're not going to see a show afterwards, they really specialize in getting you the best pre-show experience. The waiter will ask you when does your show start, so as to coordinate with the kitchen so you don't have to rush. The food is good and the wine selection is very decent, with a wide variety of types and prices. I got the beef tartare with a red wine, my friend got the salmon tartare with a white wine. The waiter was very charming and he knew his menu very well, he was able to recommend a wine that paired perfectly with our order and our taste. We sat at the "table conviviale", a round high table that you share with other guests: it was really nice we got to talk about shows with complete strangers, while also entertaining private conversations. It was overall a very nice experience, we felt like the staff was taking care of us and there was nothing left to worry about. Again, this place is only for food before a show. There are better places in Montreal to eat if you're not waiting for a show.

A very wonderful meal before the opera was had here. The appetizer was an interesting take on a capresse salad, and I will be stealing it for supper parties. We sat at the bar and they were very attentive and had excellent recommendation, in fact the bar tender picked my whole me, and I was not disappointed. The salmon tartar was yummy although it was more similar to gravlax than Asian style salmon tartar but it was good. They were quick and the food was good, which is always a plus when you have a performance to go to. I shall return.

My dates blood pudding was fine and the waiting staff were diligent but my dish the "steak" was completely inedible, you were only offered "medium rare" which would have been fine but upon the first bite one noticed an immediate rubbery ham like texture with a nasty unappetizing flavor and every bite became increasingly worse despite the addition of salt and pepper till I gave up once it became obvious the meat was completely raw...still with that nasty texture...I had it taken away with extreme indigestion and loss of appetite. To their credit they didn't charge me for this terrible experience and offered me something different from the menu but at this point I wasn't interested in anything else that could come out of that kitchen... Also the menu was extremely limited and high priced...and they should be ashamed for trying to pass off that "steak" as a 36$ item ...I wouldn't feed to a dog.. I'm suspicious that this meat is the basis of the beef tartar...I suppose its an ok place to meet after the theater for a drink but beware of the entrees.

Awesome. Simply excellent in all aspects. Service was great, not too intrusive, rightly tuned. We were a group of 8, had a reservation and i had a chance to taste at all the dishes at the table. On the height we were, everybody agreed to say that it was awesome. Salmon was great, black blood sausage were awesome with their various mashed potatoes, beef of the moment was tasty in its sauce and cooked just right, had the duck leg over sweet mashed potatoes and cranberries gravlax and it was also delicious. Tasted the beef tartare and it was on top too. Entrees were also all good. Bref, to sums it up, make sure you have a reservation. Then go ahead cause i hope that your experience will be as good as ours :) Favorite dish of the evening would have been for me the beef tartare, followed by the boudin / black blood sausage. Dessert is split between the crème brûlée and the crunchy chocolate praline.
