I have been coming to this place since I was a little kid. It is windy, it is beautiful and it is ever changing! Watch as the tide comes into the lagoon so quickly or head to the other side and watch the birds and local wildlife. Always a great experience here! ???

Gorgeous park with a lagoon on one side and the ocean with mountain views on the other. No dogs allowed on the beach in the summer months, unfortunately. Ample parking and not crowded at all. The lagoon is calm and nice for a dip. Perfect for photographers!

Hugely popular park but and a great place to bring children as there are rock outcroppings for a scramble, the beach, the lagoon and ferry activity to engage. For a picnic there are plenty of benches and nooks and crannies.

Rain or shine ?this place is awesome ? great to go and relax and stroll around. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables are here and a water fountain in the summer. Awesome family place ❀️ no playground here.

An awesome walk / place to explore when the tide is low. Both of my kids (8 & 4 years old) had a blast there. Check your tide charts before going. Low tide is better but even high tide is still a nice walk.

Beautiful views. Ample parking. Short, flat gravel pathway that walks between the ocean and lagoon. Short paths down to beach. Was there on a sunny spring day with a brisk cold wind and it was still awesome.

Pipers Lagoon and Park has both an exposed beach and a more sheltered beach. Even on the exposed beach side of the path there's a small bay that's great for swimming in the summer. This path that is between the lagoon area and the exposed beach carries on and leads to a variety of trails to explore. If you're able to climb a bit to crest the rocks at the end of the initial easy and accessible pathway, you will find a well worn main path that takes you on a short hike around the rock that has many beautiful and interesting views of the surrounding ocean, lagoon area and the historical "Shack Island". Be prepared for protuding roots and rocks on the trails, once you reach the end of the initial walkway and crest the rocks to this path.
