This rating and the below comments are directed to the promotional division of this company as that is the area we do business with. If you are looking for a promotional safety supplier my advise is to stay away from DSI | PIP. You are better off not having a hard hat supplier then having to deal with them. From my experience they DO NOT care about their customers. I can understand a company experiencing growth pains and changes with the expansion of production facilities all the while having to deal with influx of orders. However my experiences with them over the last 3-4 months have been an absolute nightmare! One order in particular was almost two months delayed from the original completion date. DSI staff provided and promised 5+ different production completion dates all of which were not met! Every time the staff provided different reasons and excuses as to why the order was not completed, never once did I receive a notice that the order was not ready. I would have to email, email, call, email, call (literally) to get the disappointing answer of no, your order was not completed. If the company actually cared about me as a customer they would have simply had the order completed after the first missed date, second missed date, third missed date, etc. Production is done within their facility and therefore within their controls, so if they cared they would have avoided my order being shipped almost two months late. However it gets better (I mean worse), once the order finally shipped, it arrived with the WRONG imprinted logo! A logo and artwork that did not even belong to our company! Now after all these issues, phone calls, emails what am I left with? We were charged for the incorrect hard hats, accounting won't answer my call, the VP wont answer my call, the CEO wont answer my call, nor are any of them available to come to the phone, nor do any of them call back to discuss the issues with this order. Not once through all these phone calls and emails with the DSI team did any staff member ever bother to apologize and say sorry for all these issues. It has come to a point where we as a company have decided to no longer sell products made by DSI | PIP. In our industry we need to select and work with partners that will help deliver products and services that fulfill our customers needs. My customers were continuously let down because I chose to have DSI | PIP as a partner, a company that does not care about their customers.
