★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandma was in this hospital and during her stay a male employee rough housed her while bathing her and completely removed the skin from her legs. I saw her the next day and she told me she would never recover from that. The next day she was dead. 3 weeks ago i brought an ill freind there and they ran a bunch of tests on him and determined he was ridden with blood clots. They discharged him and prescribed him painkillers so we took him to a toronto hospital where he still remains. They were baffled as how he was discharged. It shows how poor of a hospital this one is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im not a fan of Lakeridge Health AT ALL!! However the ajax office was always a treat and Alexandria Baker is handsdown a one of a kind counsellor. I hope to work with her again! Thank you alex and the Pinewood centre in Oshawa was great too. Alex accomodated me when I moved to Oshawa and Marcy and others were fantastic. They even gave me food when I was homeless. Cheers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience with a counselor here named Michelle, unfortunately they seem spread quite thin as are most OHIP provided mental health care facilities. It did take quite a while to get connected and do the initial intake because I was working full-time and they only offered intakes at times I wasn't able to take off. Once I finally was registered I only was able to receive 2 sessions within the first month and now I am being transferred to another counselor.
