They said a hard winter stunted upper growth on the whips, but they will survive even stronger .... we'll see! Won't call me back after leaving multiple messages. My red maple whips this year had top growth on only 2 out of 14 whips. All were planted immediately in a variety of locations. I don't necessarily want a refund, I just want to talk to somebody to better understand what causes this. It doesn't make sense to pay for older 4 foot whips when the only leaf out is at ground level. This is my second year of ordering so I would think I could get a call back? My sugar maples last year were a little better with 6 out of 10 with top growth. Guess I'll move on to a supplier that cares.
J	Joe Mancini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a large order of trees 50+ from Lucas Richardson Pineneedle farms and received some very unhealthy trees, a number of trees were covered in fungus and were already in decline when we received them, within a week, we noticed several of the trees were dropping needles and dying, we immediately reached out to Lucas via email and phone calls for advice, which none have been answered. We paid a lot for these trees and expected at least a response from Lucas, we cannot recommend Pineneedle farms, as they don’t stand behind their products and service, very disappointing that Lucas doesn’t even have common decency to return our calls or emails.
