★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swung by on Easter Sunday, the food was all pretty delicious. Had the ti légumes, grilled chicken pasta salad. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Very cool merch too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered from door dash a few nights ago and the food was so good I had to come leave a review.
A colleague had gotten their poutine (feature for Poutine Week) and said it was so delicious, I had to order it too.
The portion was great, the fries were perfectly crisp (but not over fried which is something I keep running into) and the SAUCE! Ugh. Whatever seasonings they put was pure money. I’m not even a huge meat eater but it was all so perfect. I opted to leave the pikliz off (as advised by my colleague) and opted to eat it with the side of plantains I ordered.
I’m leaving 4/5 because the plantains were very hard and a bit dry but I think that they’d be delicious if eaten fresh at the restaurant so I’ll have to try them again.
I ate it all so quickly I forgot to take a picture ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pikliz is my favourite Caribbean spot. The food is great, the vibe is fun and chill, and the staff is lovely. Absolutely love this place - I eat here multiple times a week!
PS: You have to try the hibiscus lemonade!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their plates are pretty big. Had the griyo with rice and fries. The griyo was nicely seasoned but a bit dry, but that can be fixed by dipping the pieces in their sauce. Also had fried plantains as extra and those were nice, thin and cripsy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently renovated at the time of this review and looking sharp! Suuuuper good food. Chicken was on point, really nice selection of sides. Good "Montréal" portions. Menu is not too big, not too small. Highly recommend supporting this local business. The owner is super friendly and cares a lot. I'll be back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience overall, food and portions were great, with the right amount of seasoning. The owner Akim was really nice and attentive, which explains how he was able to obtain the title of the employee of the month at the legendary McDowell's restaurant.
Will definitely drop by again the next time I am in that part of town.
