About Pho King (Capilano)
Family owned and operated restaurant that has been catering to local residents and travelers for over 20 years in the hospitality industry. The husband and wife duo, Anhson and Hien spent years learning and perfecting their craft which resulted in opening multiple restaurants and now Pho King in 2010. They take a great deal of pride in knowing that every food item that leaves the kitchen was prepared in their kitchen with their recipes. Their son, Jimmy, has been in the family business since he was a teenager. He Started as a dishwasher and worked his way to cook / restaurant manager. He plans to continue to run the family business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better places I’ve been to for a great bowl of Pho; also enjoyed the spring rolls and green onion cakes. Very clean, good portions, quality tasting food and awesome staff. It’s in my old neighborhood and easy access off major routes of 50th Street and Baseline road. A good addition to the Capilano area, we will most definitively be back. Go try it for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 0 stars because when we went there at 11:05am, they are closed. The hours are set to open at 11am. No sign on the door or anything. Google and their website both say they should be open. The door was locked and the entire restaurant was dark. Was hoping to have a nice early lunch date with my boyfriend before I had to go to work but we ended up having to rush to a different pho restaurant. If you own a business, please run your business on schedule as part of your responsibility. To potential customers: Don't come to this restaurant right at 11, they're not going to be open. Edit: I called the restaurant and they confirmed their hours are 11am but sometimes they run late to open the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always enjoy eating at the Pho King chain! Capilano one has a nice atmosphere and interior as well, glad there's finally a safe way to eat with friends again. Their King Special Pho and Bun Bo Hue are the best things on the menu, but I'm also mainly a soup noodle person. Their spring rolls are crispy and freshly deep fried when you order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make the time to enjoy soup from here. Not my first and not my last time hitting up Pho King. I love how clean and fresh the indoor dining is. All the hot sauces, one time chopstix and such on the tables. No crusty hot sauce spouts here! If you know. You know!
I've only had the pleasure of trying the soup to which is bomb. The regular is the perfect amount for me. I usually end up finishing it, from the beef to the noodles and even the broth. They also have lrg and XL. Carefully read the soup menu if your getting a specialty soup, as some use different noodles. My server the first time I went informed me upon getting the spicy pho. So happy he did! I have yet to enjoy a verm bowl so I can't speak on that. As for the dumplings (options of pork or chicken), they were not a highlight for me. Which is ok. Green onion cakes you cannot go wrong. Made fresh to order.
All and all I will continue to dine/take out from Pho King!

I eat a lot of Vietnamese food, and this spot is a new favourite.
They make one of the best Satay Beef Noodle Soups in the city.

Food/Drinks: a little confused because I ordered both the beef and chicken satay soup noodles and they were vastly different one being super thick and the other just like water. Both were pretty good flavor wise just confusing.
Service: pretty hands off service. Get you what you need then they leave you alone. Fairly friendly interactions thou.
Atmosphere: very open and vibrant modern space. The windows along the side walkway are a nice space to sit other than it being really cold in the winter.
