About Petro-Canada
On July 30, the Petro-Canada Act is passed transferring the government's existing energy assets to the new Crown corporation. Petro-Canada was a product of the world oil crisis in 1973 and 1974.
We began operating in an effort to provide more Canadian control over the domestic oil industry, to ensure Canada would receive its fair share of remote energy resources, and to provide the federal government with a better understanding of the country's oil industry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gas station at a very convenient location on the highway. I did not use the washrooms so cannot comment on their cleanliness. The store itself was clean and the cashier was very friendly. They offered me a bad to use for garbage on my trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have alright fuel. That’s about it. I avoid this place if possible. Really hard to want to purchase anything from something that the Trudeau’s have had their greedy little hands dipped into though. The staff is hit and miss, but more miss than anything. One day they can be alright, the next time you want to just leave your items there and walk out. Practically all of the nice ones have since moved on, probably to somewhere they would get treated better. Usually, I go to the Esso on 100th Street. They still have Full Service which is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a good stop here, what can I really say about a gas station? it was easy to access, right along the highway. the washer squeegee liquid looked very dirty, but it did do the job. The bathroom door lock was broken, and appeared to have been for quite some time, but there was a very heavy garbage can to use to block the door. There was soap and a dryer.
