Thank you to Jessica, Nicola and the rest of the Petite Pearl Events team for gifting us a once in a lifetime experience. We won an elopement giveaway hosted by Petite Pearl Events as a way for them to give back to couples that were affected by COVID. Jessica and her team went above and beyond to help us prepare for our ceremony which was arranged in less than a week. Their team has been amazing to work with and they are extremely talented, friendly, and professional. We would definitely recommend their services to our friends and family.

Petite Pearl is the dream team! From the moment we met Margot, we knew we were in good hands. We used Petite Pearl for partial planning and event design and got so much more. She created our dream wedding, and the entire day was perfect! Not only did she have to plan, and re-plan our wedding due to Covid-19, but our venue had an incident a few days out, so she had to re-plan the whole thing again. Margot handled this crisis as a true professional. She remained calm and had a plan, but most importantly she kept us calm. It is hard to express how hard the Petite Pearl team had to work to pull off this wedding, but in the end it was magical. Margot took the time to understand our vision and delivered something that felt special and unique for us. She made the planning process fun, exciting, and about as relaxed as it could be during a global pandemic. Margot was very organized and always had thoughtful answers to our questions as well as useful suggestions. Margot planned a beautiful wedding that we loved and delivered a stress-free experience on the day of the wedding – ALL the details were handled so we were able to focus on each other and enjoy the day. We would love to work with them again. xo

We’re constantly inspired by the care, tenacity, and overall brilliance Jessica, Margot, and the Petite Pearl Events team bring to every wedding they plan. It’s a good feeling when couples (and their family/friends) are completely present at a wedding. When they’re not having to worry about paying and coordinating vendors or how to set up decor in time for the reception. When they’re completely in the moment and enjoying themselves and the company of the people they’ve gathered. We’ve worked at many weddings with Petite Pearl Events and there’s always a huge feeling of calm for us and our couples when they’ve done the hard work of ensuring the wedding day flows well and reflects the couple’s vision. Their talents are truly a gift and all of Vancouver, Squamish/Sea to Sky, and the UK are lucky to have them.

Working with Margot and Petite Pearl Events (PPE) was the best decision we ever made for organizing our wedding reception. Trying to get married during a pandemic was stressful and challenging. We initially wanted to have a small wedding just with immediate family, but we figured if we were going to have a reception later anyway, we might as well wait a bit longer. We reached out to PPE after talking to a friend who had also hired PPE for his wedding. Our friends interviewed other event planners, and they told us PPE was their top choice, so we went with PPE as well. From day one, Margot was very personable and attentive to our needs and wants. We were not able to pinpoint exactly what we wanted at times, but Margot understood the vibe and feelings we wanted at our wedding. There were times when Margot worked her magic and helped us discover new things that we didn't know we wanted as well. Margot was very detailed in her planning and she answered all our questions whenever we asked her. She had a list of things like venues, catering, flowers, etc. that she asked for our input at an appropriate timeline. We had many emails, in person and online meetings, phone calls, and texts that took countless hours; we felt spoiled! Overall, the whole process was smooth and straightforward. All the decision making was up to us, but the rest of the planning like the execution and following up with vendors and such was Margot's job. Again, planning a wedding during COVID was mentally draining because of all uncertainties and continuously changing restrictions. Both of us were working right up to the wedding, and this was only possible because Margot helped us continue our lifestyle smoothly as much as we could. Don't get me wrong, we did have stress because of constraint changing restrictions and whatnot, but if we hadn't worked with Margot, the whole planning process would've been a painful one. We worked with Margot for not only planning but the venue hunt and décor as well. In a fiercely competitive environment Margot managed to help us find an exceptional indoor/outdoor venue that was basically pandemic restriction proof. On the décor side, we told her what colour/theme we wanted, and she did an amazing job because she really nailed the vibe that we wanted - spring, airy, and flowy. We wanted a bit of a surprise so we hadn't seen the venue/reception until the day of the reception. At the end, we were exceptionally happy with what Margot had done for us. Little details could be seen by everyone, and we wished we could remember everything from the wedding because it was that beautiful. We couldn't thank Margot enough for all she (and her team) had done for us. Just one day before our wedding the indoor mask requirements came off. Margot worked quickly with our venue and was able to get confirmation we could have everything indoors. This left Margot and the PPE team with only 19 hours to switch our wedding layout completely indoors. The hustle and flexibility were worth all the dollars. Just imagine if you had to turn an outdoor wedding into an indoor one in less than a day - we wouldn't be able to do it for sure. Everything in Margot’s control on our wedding day was perfect. There was one vendor mistake, no fault of PPE at all, but Margot sprung into action to address it the best she could and went to bat for us after the wedding to help us recuperate some of our expenses with that vendor. She really supported us ahead, during, and after the wedding. All our guests complimented our wedding for its beauty and more. We are extremely pleased to have worked with PPE. Hands down, best money spent.

Petite Pearl Events is a team filled with talented, organized and visionary planners that will make your event a dream come true. I always enjoy designing stationery for their events! Nicola and I worked on one of kind tea party for a bride to be last summer and the experience was incredible! The timeline was a bit tight, but she handled everything with such ease, grace and confidence. They have such a calming presence when under pressure, discerning taste and make sure no detail goes unnoticed. This team is sure to go above and beyond for all of their clients and vendors <3

We engaged Petite Pearl Events with Marcie as our lead planner and designer for Month-of Coordination and Event Design Services for our wedding in October 2021. How can I even begin to describe how amazing Marcie and the Petite Pearl team were? For our event design services, Marcie took some scattered ideas we had on Pinterest and turned our venue of Dusty’s Whistler into the most romantic, cozy, mountain lodge that had a sophisticated yet boho-chic feel to it all. I don’t know how she managed this, but the decor all the way from the plates to the furniture to the arrangements - everything was beautiful and perfect. She also worked closely with our florist to communicate the vision and colours we wanted which resulted in beautiful creations. For our month-of coordination services, Marcie really went above and beyond here. The 60 days before our wedding, covid restrictions were constantly changing, even including up to the day of the wedding, which required us to have many plans and contingencies in place. Marcie was extremely organized and excellent with communication. She worked directly with all of our vendors to navigate almost daily changes, and helped us be ready for just about anything the day threw at us. She also helped make sure we thought about absolutely everything and plan for everything, so that we felt prepared leading up to and could relax on the day of. Marcie made our whole wedding experience a dream. Now we want to have another just to work with her again! Lastly, the Petite Pearl team was wonderful to work with. They don’t bring just anyone along to assist with events on the day of, they bring their other designers and planners. This really helped us feel like everything was absolutely perfect and there was nothing for us to worry about with such an experienced team on site for us during the day. Thank you so much to Marcie, Jessica and the whole Petite Pearl Team for an amazing experience!

My husband and I chose to work with Nicola at Petite Pearl Events for our wedding day (Takeover Coordination option) and were blown away by the whole experience. We kept saying throughout our planning process that this was literally the best decision we'd made for our wedding! From the beginning, Nicola was quick to respond, professional, fun and friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. We were planning our wedding from afar (we live in the Caribbean and were getting married in Vancouver), but were able to meet with Nicola over Zoom for all of our meetings. We loved that before we signed the contract with Petite Pearl we were able to meet with Nicola, chat about our hopes for the wedding and ask questions to ensure it was a good fit. We knew it was right away and felt at ease about the next steps for our planning despite doing so from so far away AND during the uncertainty of the pandemic. Nicola was super helpful with vendor suggestions, little details to consider, and things to start looking into. With the takeover coordination service, you get a 6-month-out meeting, which was also super helpful. Nicola checked in to see that we'd gotten the important things arranged and helped steer us in the right direction for next steps. I should also add that despite us not having chosen the full wedding planning option, Nicola was there to answer any little questions that popped up along the way, which was amazing. About 6 weeks out we had a long meeting, and then Nicola 'took over' and became the point of contact for the vendors...this was awesome! She was able to remind us when final payments were due, ensure rentals were going to be picked up and dropped off at the right times, etc. She prepared a detailed itinerary for the day of the wedding, along with the events leading up to it, and made changes as and when they came up. It really relieved a lot of stress for us. The week before the wedding, we got to have another meeting (face-to-face, once we were finally in the same country!) and again, she was so helpful making sure everything was exactly right. For our rehearsal, Nicola was there and made sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to expect on the actual wedding day. On our actual day, Nicola was the first one to the venue with her assistant, and they made sure everything looked beautiful and was exactly right. It was so wonderful not having to worry about a single thing on our wedding day - all of our family and friends could just enjoy the day without having to worry about dropping off centrepieces or preparing decorations and arranging the flowers. The whole day flowed so smoothly, and it was because Nicola was on top of everything, making sure it was all going according to plan. At the end of the night, she ensured everything was cleared up and all rentals were returned, cards and gifts went home safely, and that the venue was in good shape. Nicola went above and beyond our expectations and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had the best day and are so grateful for Nicola!
