Then it took another forty minutes for our main course to arrive, so late that we had to get it to go (we had an event we needed to be at). If I pay $50 for dinner, I want it to come in under two hours.

They can do any type of cuisine....!!! Challenge the chefs to get the best out of them...They don't disappoint you...!!! I had made reservations to eat at 5th Element for Summerlicious. On the day of my reservation, I tried to call to confirm my reservation, but no one answered. 5th Element was closed "for maintenance" two days prior to my reservation and no one had the courtesy to call.

I know it was a bad day cause you could.only accept cash and provide a hand written receipt. It's not your customera fault...always be courteous and respectful. I would have tipped more. Loose change is not appreciated when settling the bill. I asked for 25 back not 20 and loose change.

Thoroughly enjoyed the pea soup, chicken pakora, butter chicken and the pistachio kolfi. The service we received was a little slow and disengaged, but I observed more engaged and efficient service in other areas of the restaurant. The decor was beautiful however the floor was slippery, which my friends commented on...then at the end of our dinner I actually slipped (which made me yelp)! I was wearing wedge sandals, not anything slippery or high-heeled. What I thought was most disconcerting was that not a single staff asked if I was okay...other patrons showed their concern about my accident. One of my friends spoke with someone from the restaurant.

I gave them my number, but they never even bothered to call me. Extremely unhappy, I went all the way downtown just to eat there! Went to Little India instead, it was great, will stick to them in the future.
I	Irshad Mulla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! Really impressed! This place serves modern Indian fusion cuisine. Not the typical fare you would be eating if you ever visited India. But a very interesting take on Indian food to make it modern and chic. Its a little bit on the expensive side and the portions are small, but worth every penny. Check it out if you're in the mood for Indian, but also want to try something different.
