Trash school, some teachers are nice but they are underrated and no one talks about them. One of the gym teachers are extremely weird and make the grade 9 girls feel unconfortable around him. VP is chill and does everything to help student but the principal is barley at school and he has this deeeeepp voice and it scary like wth. THE TWO WOMEN IN THE OFFICE ARE SO MEEEEEEEAAAANNNNN if this school wants to go anywhere they better get some new secretaries because these two wome are the first people everyone meets. they get so much credit for working so "hard" but all they do is yell at kids and answer phone calls from parents. the one sitting in the front is worse then the one at the back. my mom tried picking me up and the women was like "she is in a middle of a kids help kids session i can not do that for you" IT WAS NUTT BREAK. I had a doctors appointment to go to. she needs to fix her attitude before this school gets shut down for having no more kids there. the librarian is creepy. some teachers are racist.

The only reason there are negative reviews are because people have clearly not been in the school for that long...it's a really good school though! The staff is amazing! But the older grade students have a bit of an issue...they steal, get into fights...but everything else is awesome!

I agree with previous reviews about Principal Mr. Choat and Vice Principal Mr. Parent. As a parent of a child and waiting in the office, I observed that both are discriminating and rude towards the students. As a parent waiting in the office standard waiting is 45 mins while I asked the receptionist she replies "Just wait sir ! we have 950 kids to look after!" and just keep talking on the phone. Even my children from grade 5,8 and 9 complaint to me that newly graduated teachers were assigned to us and yet they do not have experience nor know how to handle students in a mature manner. While the students yelling, fighting, throwing things, swearing and teacher is busy on her cell phone texting or checking messages. This is the new CBE Standard for Education. The Principal hires teachers on the basis of good looks, prefers women, newly graduated and no experience required. If the Principal is like that good luck with the future of our kids. If you want your kids to be educated oriented I would highly recommend to switch the schools. I hope CBE does an audit of their Principals hiring standards, before someone records them with their cellphone and gives it to the media. I hope CBE reads this message.

Well, the school looks good and great for people who knows people there. We have some issues, we tell them, they harass our kids. The front office staff is the worst. They talk even to kids in a rude way. And that also infront of the parents. That is unacceptable. For that reason, I won't recommend this school for your kids at all. Attitude matters if you are working in Canada, not to immigrants only. Hope CBE will look into this matter. Thank you.

REAL REVIEW- PLEASE READ. okay so, let me just get something clear... I am not giving this school 5 stars because no one is perfect and 100%, there is always room to grow. Since there are so many review of how the students are and what they do.. The school reviews aren't for that purpose. This is now becoming a place where most of the people are almost ranting of how the people are at the school. Though, that is what sometimes matter but for an example the grade 9's are going to leave so there is no point. Anyway, I've been to that school. The teachers are great and no, the people who rate this school good they aren't teachers pet or buy them gifts. And the people who do they are doing it from a good heart and being a teachers pet isn't a bad thing. When you get to high-school that will come in handy. And the office staff is great, they know the drill of how parents come in. So there is a real review: 1. The name isn't stolen or has been copied. There was an entire questionnaire that was completed when the school was being built. 2. "Treat others like you would like to be treated" --> You've heard that before right! So, treat the teachers how you would like to be treated, because they always watch how you are with others and what you do. And, if you're not going to be positive and polite then hey, they aren't going to be the best to you. But, no teacher really singles you out and tries to give the same treatment to everyone. 3. Don't say the school is bad because the school is a building and the building is great, it's how you present the school. 4. The students all come with a bag of goodies and sometimes they feel like the school is where they can present themselves. So, don't judge the students. Now, when you go to this school your experience might be different but for me it was a place where I got so many opportunities and it shaped me into who I am today. If you are a student who is reading this i would say; 1. Do your work, if you don't get it from one teacher go to another teacher.… ALWAYS get help. 2. Get involved with stuff... there are many things for everyone. If you are a parent; 1. don't judge the teachers, they are humans and are doing their best. 2. be patient 3. Let your child get involved. Now, this is my perspective, I'm not trying to change anyone . I read the reviews and I just didn't agree. Though, I could go on and on... I'm not... :)

My First year public school experience? my daughter was in private school until now,And I’m so happy seeing how good she’s doing,And the teachers are mind blowing?

The reviews below are actually incorrect. They might be opinions but my experience with this school was pretty good. Some people are just mad the teachers are doing their job .The school is a very nice place it’s just the teachers are strict because it’s their job , not all teachers are strict you just got a good teacher. If you expect your teacher to give you candy and let you watch movies all day ,leave. If you expect your teacher to actually do that, you need to grow up and get more mature. The ladies at the front are not bad, they just are doing their job and are mad that you are disturbing them. Otherwise the school is very nice, it was just in 2021 where people started (6th graders) drawing on the bathroom stalls which was really frustrating and not setting a good example for new kids. The school is a good place and I don’t know what you’re talking about.

The librarian is very rude and unhelpful. She takes her problems out on others. I needed help with the printer and she asked me what was wrong once I told her she said “oh really I wouldn’t have been able to see that if you didn’t tell me” with sarcasm and attitude. Why do teachers think it is acceptable to talk to students this way? This is not the first time this librarian has talked to students this way. She always leaves me in disbelief. The way she talks to students younger and older is just shocking. She always seems to be in the worst mood and that’s okay I understand people can have bad days but it is absolutely not okay to take it out on students. I wasn’t even being rude I was being perfectly polite even after she showed me unnecessary sarcasm. Why is this allowed?
