AAA Point Driving School Ltd. was founded by Jarnail “Jerry” Sidhu, a Calgary resident for over 22 years. Jerry has been driving commercial industrial vehicles since 1987 and is now the manager and senior training instructor for AAA Point Driving School Ltd. His extensive knowledge of the city of Calgary as well as his hard work ethic, honesty, integrity and volunteerism makes Jerry one of the top Calgary driving instructors to work with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This school is professional and cost effective for Class 1 driver's license learning. All staffs are very nice and well explained about everything you need to learn and to pass the air brake, pre-trip and road test exam. When registering to the class, they suggested me to read the air brake guide prior to attending the class, study hard and then you will understand when instructor teach you in the course and know how important the air brake is as well as its functions and control.
Don't be reluctant to see whether you just want the air brake course to try, then register for Class 1 driving training later. If you want to get this license, prepare and do it with AAA. I know some guys want to get a full professional truck driver course that gives you a lot of details and be full capable driver. You will go to the entry-level anyway once you start the job, but the license will open the door for you. When you are on the road, driver takes full responsibility of the truck and trailer.
The training schedule is full now as the new regulation is coming in March and will be changed.
This school is cost effective and depending on how fast you learn from the instructor Jerry of course and another instructor, he is not an easy guy to allow you to forget anything prior to the road test. Thanks Jerry for strictly to everything.
You study hard on your own as far as your learn from instructors, then view other lessons from YouTube like air brake test, pre-trip, alley dock, etc. Then, you will pass the test easily if you are also drive responsively.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady at the front who I think is one of the owners was very nice. She explained everything well and also said that I should study up before my air brakes course and she was right.
Jas the instructor for our air brakes class was very knowledgeable, thorough and patient.
Jerry the owner took my air brakes practical exam and told everyone what the expectations were for the exam. All in all a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jerry the owner of this school is very bad person and ignorant, We were 6 people in the class 1 melt and non of us pass the road test. 1 he’s cheating the hours you have .2 wasting your time.3 he wants you to buy from him more hrs to practice. 4 if you’re not from his community Is grantee you won’t pass because he has connection with Alberta Road test person which is from his community 99.9%. Please don’t go to this school even if the government is paying your program. Ask them to locate you any other schools. He has connections with Alberta road test people he will tell them to let you fail and you can’t argue with the road test person even if don’t make mistakes still will let you fail. Unless you pay him Jerry extra money. One off my classmate told me that he had paid him Jerry $2000 from his pocket to pass the test but I refused to do that and I took my chances even Jerry told that I need more practice which he wants to make more money out of me.
