★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the staff started out snooty to me; I had recently moved to GP from Ontario.. after they had seen me come in a few times with my dog and spend about $100 each time, they started to greet me with more enthusiasm and showed me I was a valued customer. Didn't start out so great tho but they gained a star since then :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in today to find that they have put into place a mandatory mask policy. I have been coming here for 7 years but will be taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully your comapny will reconsider, it should be up to your customers to choose. Very dissapointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I popped into this downtown location to check out what services they had for washing large breed dogs. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and offered assistance. The woman, rather than pointing to the bathing station, took the time to come around the counter and bring me right to the bathing area. That was my first sign of strong customer service. She saw me hovering around the gate and told me to go in and see how comfortable and convienent the washing station was. She was knowledgeable about pricing and all the services included in the $10 I would spend for each of my dogs bath. Service like this I do not take for granted anymore as it seems good help is hard to find at most retail establishments. I have already recommended this location to numerous people and I commend the staff there for actively assisting me and anchoring me as a forever client at this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has a great selection of food and treats for your dog. The only complaint I have is the employees as they seem to have no ambition to help. They stand behind the counter on their phones, or stand in groups chatting and when you go to ask for help they seem annoyed and act like it's an inconvenience. I also have called and asked if they had a product and they said no with out even going to look. Because the experience I have had in the past I checked online they said they had it went to go get it and sure enough it was there on the shelf. Instead of saying no the employee should have went to go check. She seemed annoyed I called to ask. Other than these things I think petvalue has great prices and a good selection. I just feel incredibly judged when I walk in there and like I'm inconveniencing them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought 2 Christmas sweaters for my dogs while they were getting groomed, asked the lady at the counter if it was the wrong size if I could return, she assured me it would be no issue. Took the sweaters to the groomer and put them on the dogs and took them (lost the bag as I wasn’t thinking and wasn’t at home), when I got home I notice the one seemed a little big for my smaller dog so I took it off her a decided I would go exchange. When I brought it in to exchange for the smaller size I was told there was nothing that could be done without the tags (maybe 12 hours out of the store) Very disappointed with the customer service, and would recommend shipping at Bone n’ Biscuit as they have never given me any grief!
