My old boy Petie crossed the rainbow bridge on Monday evening, and Pet Heaven was open and ready to accept my dearly departed doggo. The experience was not at all what I was expecting. They brought us into a private family room with soothing music and low lights and comfortable chairs. There were emotional support kitties, and the staff was amazing! I felt much better after Susan handled all the arrangements for us. Petie was privately cremated with less than 24 hours turnaround, and it wasn't prohibitively expensive. I even got a pendant with some of his ashes. I'm so grateful to have such a dignified, comfortable place in Calgary to lay our beloved pets to rest!
V	Vincent Woodward on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I traveled 3 hours 1 way from home, where my animal was stored for me. Being a long haul truck driver I was away from home when she passed. Lots of emotion for me to bring her in, undignified, froze, half in a cooler. They were very accommodating to my schedule and situation. The wonderful soul watchers helped me know she was cared for and would be guided well. The staff had the needed compassion to put myself at ease.
A	Amanda St on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My cat Tiger passed away unexpectedly this week, I was very distraught when I called Pet Heaven and they were so compassionate, and soothing as funny as that may sound. I dropped Tiger off the same day she passed away, I could have picked her up the next day but I wasn't ready. So I picked her two days later. They allowed us to stay in their living room until we were ready to leave. When I picked Tiger up they had everything ready and because my oldest daughter unfortunately was the one who found Tiger they cut an extra lock of hair for my daughter. Their pricing was upfront, they told me what I'll have returned. There was no extra fees or surprises when I picked Tiger up. I have other animals and when their time ultimately comes, I will be using pet heaven again. I do highly recommend them. Also just a little coincidence or maybe a meant to be. Turns out they are part of or partners with Pierson funeral home which is the only funeral home my family uses because they are amazing, fair priced, and compassionate! Glad I chose pet heaven!

We chose to have him transition at home surrounded by love and our vet recommended Pet Heaven to us. I can tell you that I was extremely distraught and could barely even speak about the process. From the very first phone call to Pet Heaven, they were so understanding and patient. I could tell that they really understood how hard this is on someone and they did everything possible to help me through the details of planning. When the day came and they arrived at our home to pick up and transfer Bender for cremation, Susan was so amazing! She handled Benny as if he was still alive and spoke to him and pet his head with such care and compassion. It really made a huge difference for me, and I knew he was in safe hands. His remains were delivered to me the next day and again, Susan was so kind and compassionate. I can HIGHLY recommend Pet Heaven to anyone needing this type of service. I will never use anyone else. Katie was incredibly understanding and sweet and made us and our dog feel so valued. She accommodated us and we felt immediately that our dog was taken care of, safe and loved. I would highly recommend Pet Heaven. We were soothed in our grief by the excellent care.

I was sadly unable to afford a private burial and reluctantly chose the communal burial as it is the more affordable option. They were flexible about when I could bring my pet in and explained in empathetic detail the process and where my pet would be after cremation and even invited me to feel free to visit his final resting place anytime, which was a positive surprise for me. We were lucky enough to meet Kerry when we did come in and she was just so lovely and reassuring and kind and patient with us, it made an incredibly sad and difficult experience so much easier. I cannot thank them enough for their help today. I would highly recommend their services if you want to feel confident that your pet’s remains will be treated with the deepest respect and compassion.

They have the cheapest services and provide you with hair clippings, footprint and a gorgeous certification. (for the private cremation) The urn was extra cost but altogether still cheaper than anywhere else ESPECIALLY against the humane society. Being able to put your pet to rest a way that makes you feel comfortable shouldn’t have to be a financial stress too and that’s why i can’t believe this place existed to be able to provide my hamster with the outgoing that she deserved. The staff are incredibly kind and supportive and im so grateful i decided to go with pet heaven. Plus literally you can pay your way into heaven… what a steal!

We got lots of time to say goodbye beforehand in the family room. Everything was great. Thank you Pet Heaven for the best last experience I could have with my big boy.
