Voles
You have heard of mole control, but not vole control? Why is that? Well, the latter gets little recognition. While you may not know the difference between moles and voles, even those who are not landscaping enthusiasts have heard of moles. But most people go their whole lives without ever so much as hearing about voles, let alone controlling them. To make matters more confusing, these pests are sometimes referred to as "meadow mice" or "field mice." But when you identify the damage they cause in lawn and garden alike, you'll quickly learn that this is no "Mickey Mouse" problem.
Voles construct well-defined, visible tunnels, or "runways" at or near the surface, about two inches wide. Vole runways result from the voles eating the grass blades, as well as from the constant traffic of numerous little feet beating the same path. And if any lawn and garden pest can literally “beat a path” through the grass due to their sheer numbers, it’s the voles. Rabbits don’t have anything over this prolific rodent!

It was very quick to get the info I needed and book an appointment. It turned out that they were actually able to come to my house earlier than the scheduled time (great!), and they got to work removing the nest very quickly. Very happy to have it gone! After having terrible service from a different company that came in 3 times, for a wasp infestation INSIDE the walls in my daughter's room, Pest In Peace came to save the day. They were very professional, came within 24hrs to do an assessment and came up with a plan. They showed genuine concern for the wasp issue and did not give up on the job until they located and removed the nest, which was difficult to find. The queen was still in the nest and would have emerged in the spring, in my daughter's room! I can rest easy now.
