They tell a great story until they start taking your money. We were assigned a project manager, who then quit the company and we were not informed and a new project manager was not assigned. After weeks of e-mails, text messages and leaving voicemails, we found out a week before our project was scheduled to start that he was gone and that none of the trades had been scheduled. It also seemed that he had left without leaving notes or instructions for anyone in the company, or otherwise that no one at the company took the time to inform themselves, so we essentially had to repeat ourselves over and over to one person after another. Our project went well beyond the projected timeline - costing us extra time off work, and meaning that we lived in a construction zone with our toddler. The trades who were sent did not know what they were to do, did not have the requisite tools or supplies, sometimes did not show up at all, were scheduled in the wrong order so frequently had to come back repeatedly to actual do their work. Additionally, when it came to invoicing, they were unable or unwilling to provide any supporting documents to explain the charges from places like Home Depot. Ultimately, their services are FAR from perfect in spite of the name.

I had hardwood installed in my whole house (860 sqft) and had my stairs changed from carpet to oak. I had Wayne come over to give me an estimate, and the thing I really liked is he listened to what I wanted. I could do some basic handy work and wanted to save money. So we agreed that I would pull all the carpet from the stairs, remove the spindles, and go and buy the new stair threads, and stain and varnish them. This saved me $1500 off the next lowest quote that I got, by contractors who said they do the whole process not just parts of it. But that’s not where the savings ended. Once I gave my deposit Wayne told me where to pick-up solid 1’ thick oak threads at $35 a piece ($65 for custom curved threads – Note you have to make your own cardboard template for each custom step). This is about half the price of the online stores that sell custom stair threads. Don’t even think about buying threads from a big box store, they are only oak veneer and will not last, better to spend an extra $5 per step and get true solid oak. There were some unexpected delays but 2 weeks later Tony and his crew of 5 showed up and laid the floor in the whole house in 1 day. He was awesome; the quality of work was top notch as shown in the pictures attached. He came back the next day and finished off the stairs. A tip for the stairs: when you’re ready to put the spindles back in to save a lot of time & money, do the following. Number each spindle when you take it out, so you can put them back in the exact same spot. Dry fit the spindles in the hole before the workers come. You do this by using a very sharp knife on the spindle pegs so they go right in without you having to hammer them down. I found that after painting the spindles I couldn’t get them to go in without doing this. My final invoice was as agreed, there was no extra charges added which I had happen with other contractors and was worried about. As you can see in the pictures the final results look great which is why Perfect painters earned a 10 on my reno job.

Great Experience from Start to Finish. First Class and rarely found Painting and Renovation Company. I was sure about hiring a Painting company for the Reno part but man this company was excellent. Great Work and really nice staff. Start to finish the experience is outstanding. Now I understand why they are so highly rated on Homestars.

Called to get a quote. Was asked what my address was (in Mississauga) and was told "no one is servicing your area right now". There was no option for later, nor was I asked when I needed it done. Obviously not interested in the work.

Perfect Painters exceeded my expectations. My grandparents had decided to stage their home and based on their requirements we tried the program "Painter of the day". The painter arrived on time and the job that he did was outstanding. My grandparents were thrilled and it looked so good they didn't want to move. Thank you Perfect Painter for a job well done. We will definitely will use them again.

I hired Perfect Painters ( who are part of Perfect Renovations Group) to actually prove a point to my Dad. That yes we needed our Kitchen updated from a 1960's look to a 2016 look. Well they certainly proved it. They did an outstanding job. What a difference new cabinetry and new flooring can do. We certainly will be using them in the future for our next project. They truly are a "one stop shop". Thank you so much Perfect Renovations Group.
