D	Dale Kuda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect leather goods has lost my business permanently. I ran 15 minutes across the city because it was snowing I could not get an Uber. I called beforehand and told them that I was on my way. This was a Saturday being and they are not open the day after. Two minutes before 5pm they were locking the doors and told me it is five go away! 0 stars if I could. Three employees argued with me as I pleaded! This is a bad business with bad people. You treat your customers very bad. It's not even 5 and you are closing up and telling someone who is there to buy more fur and leather from you to go away. I will never shop with you again! Santa won't have the fur he needs for his hat tomorrow

I once asked this place to repair a torn brown pig skin leather jacket, but they made such a mess of the collar of the jacket that I had to go to another leather fabric accessories store, buy a piece of brown pig skin leather, and subsequently take the jacket and the piece of brown pig skin leather that I purchased to an independent tailor in order to have the collar fixed properly. As well, I asked 'Perfect Leather Goods' to fix the torn cuffs on the sleeves of my pig skin leather jacket, but despite having numerous pieces of different types of leather available in their store, 'Perfect Leather Goods' couldn't even match the colour of their pig skin leather with the pig skin leather for my jacket. That is, the colour of the pig skin leather that 'Perfect Leather Goods' used to repair the cuffs on the sleeves of my jacket was almost three shades lighter than the colour of the pig skin leather of my jacket. Consequently, the repair job that they did on the cuffs of my jacket was very obvious. However, I had no problem matching the colour of the piece of brown pig skin leather that I purchased at the other leather fabric accessories store to the colour of my jacket, which was ultimately used to properly repair the collar of my jacket. Above all, 'Perfect Leather Goods' charged me $90 for the execrable job that they did on my jacket! Thus, my advice is don't ever waste your time or money having any repairs done on your leather jackets at the 'Perfect Leather Goods' store.

The prices are INCREDIBLE, the selection is vast, you support local (this is a family run operation that has been around for over 50 years), made in Canada, and way way way cheaper that any chain store with products made overseas. The staff are absolutely incredible and many have worked there for the longest time. They know their leather! Don't forget to check out their vintage section upstairs. I landed an incredible leather jacket, with a super unique pattern and awesome cut, for under $100. Let's do our part to keep family run businesses such as this around. It's a win win for everyone.

I love businesses that don't hesitate to recommend another business and this place did that as they don't deal with the kind of fur repair I needed. The artisans here carefully created a belt complete with buckle and multiple decorative rivets. Amazing finished product far surpassed my expectations. This place is truly a time capsule and gem in the leather industry. The smell of all the leather cuts is absolutely amazing and i cannot emphasize enough how kind staff were i will be back again for all my leather needs. T	The Bunna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Penelope and her staff are top notch, personable, professional, accountable, accommodating, honest, and down-to-earth - qualities that are in short supply these days with corporate retailers. I had a clasp that broke off my hand wallet. Penelope had me go to a local leather & sewing supply store in the neighborhood to find a clasp that would be a suitable substitute. She graciously allowed me to park in her lot while I sourced the replacement hardware. Once I found the replacement hardware, it took less than a minute, and I was on my way! I also had a belt that needed shortening; however, Penelope suggested that I check with a shoe repair shop first, since my belt was of a certain style that she did not want to change if I wanted to retain it, as shoe repair shops have a different type of machine that can sew through the type of stitching that is on my belt. Love her honesty and opinion! Overall, I was treated with courtesy and respect. A very positive experience! It's also a family-owned business - 50 years(!!), and I feel great that I was able to give her my business. Also, if you're in the market for just about anything leather, etc., you must check this place out!! If I had more time and money, I would have scooped up a few items there! Thank you for the great service!!
