L	Loretta Fazari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reviews I release can be quite hurtful. I think Linda the manager at Different Mall, her and I had a nice chat. I like to apologize. I saw her she wasn't angry but explained the policy in a very calm manner. It's not her policy but store policy. I got my refund. Yes I do recommend this store.

I spoke with an associate named Sam who apologized for the long wait (which I assumed was going to happen since it was Christmas Eve) it was still nice to have someone who was all about customer service. I let her know what type of jewelery I was open to and the budget. She was extremely helpful, honest and never rushed us. It was great having someone show you all the options and exercise patience (since I am very indecisive at times). In the end I bought a present for both my aunt and mother, and a stuffed puppy (which I am definitely keeping). Would definitely go back to this location and ask for Sam. Here is a photo of our adorable new stuffed puppy in his new home!

Stores have to process native status card for tax exemption on purchases at a store like Peoples according to the Ontario Ministry of Finance. People's store at Eaton Centre gave me attitude for using my status card. Luckily their tap function wasn't working on their machines so I left. Thought I'd try this Dufferin location since I still wanted the item. Before I wanted to go this Dufferin store, I figured I should call first. The worker on the phone flat out told me they don't accept status card for tax exemption which is incorrect. I go onto the Peoples website and chat with a Peoples representative and she said stores have to process the tax exemption and have a tax exemption form to fill out. There is no form to submit electronically for tax exemption like the Best buy stores and Amazon does. I will look for the item at different store. Anyways, hopefully management at these Toronto Peoples store can train their employees in this matter. I wouldn't recommend shopping there for the time being.
S	Sasha Dasha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service I received from Serveh and Sammy was outstanding. Serveh was friendly, polite and patient when I wanted to try many rings. She didn't rush me and I appreciated that. Sammy was helpful and friendly when cashing me out and knowledgeable about People's jewelry (i.e. extended warranty, cleaning of jewelry) etc. I appreciated both the excellent customer service I received from Serveh and Sammy. In conclusion, purchased a ring worth $1200 and the service made this possible. Thanks!

A few days later, the associate that assisted called me and saved the ring for me. I was so impressed by her honesty and professionalism. Someone else may have taken the opportunity to pretend the customer took both pieces of the emerald set and kept the ring.

Tells you that your jewelry you’re buying can be shortened and doesn’t explain that’s an extra cost first of all. Then when I paid for the shortening, it is taking over a month to do so. It was estimated to be ready 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting. If I took my anklet to an independent jeweller it would be done within a few days. This will be the last time I buy anything from Peoples or Mappins. Garbage service
A	Alex Garcia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered some items online . A white gold chain and white gold earrings . When the package came I was shocked . The items looked like it was fit for a new born . Both items were on sale , which was a good price . I guess you get what you pay for . I quickly returned the items. I would image how mad somebody would be paying full price receiving these items. I was disappointed. Good thing I didn't by these item last minute for Valentine's Day.

The customer service provided by this lady was outstanding, she was the only one that greeted me when I entered the store while the rest of associates were to busy chatting among themselves , her knowledge on the products was beyond, she listened and found exactly what I was looking for, she even offered to clean the earrings I was wearing that I had previously purchased there. To say the least, my sisters and my mother are very happy with their earrings and necklace, thank you Vanessa, you are hands down, the best customer service at this location!!!
