β β β β β The staircase to the parking machines are very confusing, they need to post better signages.

β β β β β Since BC entered in phase-2 sometime in early May, the Impark Lot 1 located in 700 W Pender was offering a daily parking rate of $10 for 6AM-6PM to promote the usage of the parkade and to provide safe alternate of driving to those who would instead take transit to avoid pricey parking.
I had been using this reduced rate since it was introduced and it had become my routine to enter the stall number, make selection #1, which was for the reduced daily rate and pay, simple!
On Friday, July 17 2020, Impark ended that program which I wasnt aware of when I drove in July 21 2020 and I admit my own mistake that I was in rush due to an important meeting which I was running late for, I didnt pay too much attention to the parking meter's screen. The machine often goes into sleep mode and doesnt read the first keystroke we make, so when I entered #138, it read #38 and then the popped up the payment options, without paying attention, I selected #1 which had changed from reduced rate $10 parking from 6AM-6PM to 30 mins parking; paid and went to work.
When I returned, I had a parking notice for non-payment of stall #138 at 10:45AM. I called impark twice and explained the mistake that had happened, I offered to pay for the whole day's parking at the regular rate of $25.75 but both the times they were not willing to listen.
Very disappointed to see how they would just not listen to a regular customer who honestly offers to pay for the whole day instead of the 2 hours between expiry of the parking and the issuance of ticket.
If this is not resolved, I am boycotting this parking lot and would park at any other non-impark location starting now on, even if I have to walk for a few minutes to get to office.

β β β β β Paid $25 for 5 hours of parking till 5:30 pm and still got towed away before 5 pm. Also there are lots of unclear signage about restricted areas and reserved stalls. Based on my experience, I would not recommend parking here.
