Worse receptionist and a BIG liar! We bought our daughter needing IM antibiotic and I confirmed on the phone before coming to the clinic and my wife also confirmed before paying $180 (we’re visiting from US) the receptionist stated that they give IM antibiotic but when we spoke to the doctor she said they don’t do it. The receptionist denied that she heard IM and it was a miss communication. She also refused to give us receipt stating that she already gave it to us and she will not reprint it! Me and my wife are also in healthcare and they’re receptionist demeanor is not appropriate especially dealing with peds patients! PLEASE consider replacing her with somebody that is compassionate and has a good manner. And by the way… she was also yelling to a patient over the phone when we’re there.

Worst experience! I have brought my child here several times so my review is based on multiple visits/dealings with them. Reception staff is non-cooperative and non-caring. My son visited Dr Godwin and doctor said that he is sending referral to a specialist, if i dont hear back in 2 weeks i should call to check. I called around 8th day and receptionist didnt even bother looking at the record and said it takes around 3-4 weeks. I called about a week later and the receptionist that day looked into the record to tell me that doctor has put a note about specialist referral but no actual referral was sent. Doctors as well as most of the reception staff seem to be in a hurry. I had asked(multiple times) the receptionist to share the lab reports with my family doctor but that never happened.

Good luck with booking a virtual appointment. Even if your messages have been sent, you have the screen open waiting for the doctor, and the messages sent are time stamped showing that you are physically there.....somehow you'll still be marked a no show. Do i smell OHIP billing fraud?

I bring my kids here occasionally because its very close to us but recently the service have decreased significantly. They make you wait for hours by saying there are many patients waiting in the car but literally the whole car parking lot and waiting area was empty and on top of it when kid want to use the washroom while waiting they said its out of service. All doctor does is spend 2-3mins with you and i dont see many people coming out or going in so why make people wait for so long. I really like few of the doctors here which also keep changing but why make people wait and feed lies. At first receptionist said 1 hr and after 30mins she is saying 2hrs. I wish they improve there time management.

I came to this walk in as a last minute resort. Would have been better to wait it out for our regular pediatrician or go to the emerg. This place is awful and will never return and I reccomend finding another place or going to the emergency. The doctor there didn't seem concerned at all for my child and did the bare minimum, he half answered my questions and concerns. Did a urine test to see if infection was present and he said that the test was negative and to just keep an eye out. I decided to get a better opinion and went to our family doctor the next day and he said right away she had a urine infection just by the odor of the pee! And sent out the sample to a lab to make sure. I dont know how the doctor on call at the walk in is even allowed to be there. Also the receptions was very rude and not welcoming at all.

I have generally had good experiences with the doctors at this clinic while using the virtual doctor portal whether it was a phone call or messaging on the app. Today I just needed a refill on a prescription for my daughter as her primary is at this clinic and I can’t seem to get an in person appointment, which I get because of Covid. I booked an appointment for 10:40am on my phone through the portal and got the confirmations via text message yesterday. I went to my laptop to sign in and see the appointment so I can join today and the appointment didn’t even show up. Ok fine, maybe a glitch in the system. So I booked another appointment for 1120. At 11:30am I recieve a phone call from the receptionist stating that the doctor can’t make my 1040 appointment because they were busy (which I understand, it’s Saturday and the height of allergy season which my child is also dealing with) and that the appointment has been moved to 5pm. I asked if it will be a phone appointment or through the messaging and she said it might be either or. So I said okay. 5pm came and went, then 6pm and now 7. No phone call, no message on the portal, nothing. You can’t call because you will get the voice mail as it’s after hours I guess. I check my 1040 appointment and it said I cancelled when I didn’t, the doctor did, and my 1120 appointment still stares me in the face. I wanted to give this clinic the benefit of the doubt because honestly, some people will complain simply to complain and that comes from someone who works in healthcare. I also understand given the time and day, doctors will be busy. But if you have to cancel an appointment, make a new one and inform the patient. The refill would take 2 minutes as it has in the past, I am managing my child’s symptoms so coming into the clinic isn’t necessary and should it become so, urgent care clinics and emerg are at my disposal. I think it’s unfortunate when parents expect virtual care to be the simpler option only to recieve the run around and falsities. I don’t even know truly whom to cast blame to but I don’t believe I’ll go back. I booked an appointment again out of frustration but I’m going to cancel it. I truly hope things change for the better but as the negative reviews outnumber the positive, it’s hard to envision. Update: the irony that not even 5 minutes after publishing this post, the doctor called while away from my phone…two and a half hrs later. Smh

I was hesitant to bring my 5 month old here based on all the reviews, but I was left with very little options. My primary doctor would not see her without a negative covid result since she had a high fever. I was concerned about her fever being 41 for quite some time and I wanted to avoid the long waits at emerg. I saw a virtual doctor who advised me to take her to see a doctor. I called and the receptionist confirmed I would not need a negative test result. I came to the walk in clinic around 10am on a Friday morning. I assumed I would have a long wait time since I did not have an appointment. When I walked in, there were other parents and kids, but there was only one patient ahead of me waiting for urgent care. I waited no longer than 15 minutes and the doctor was very friendly. He diagnosed her with roseola very quickly and I was able to get the reassurance that I needed. I would definitely revisit again for urgent care. I came all the way from Brampton and it was worth the drive. I would advise not to bring a stroller since the waiting area is small and you are not permitted to bring a stroller into the room. Also, street parking is available at an hourly rate.

Terrible experience. The receptionist is the most inconsiderate and unhelpful person I have seen working in health care. She should not be dealing with patients let alone peds patients in an urgent care for children. She needs to learn how to talk to the patients parents, she needs to inform everyone better of the policies and should try to be helpful rather than just counting the hours before she gets to go home. The doctor was slightly better. But I won’t be going there again if I can help it.
