In my opinion, this trail is beautiful, but not as beautiful as other trails in the Algonquin Provincial park. I went there when the fall color change was 80% and the leaf fall 10%. This trail is less colorful than some other trails. But it is short enough and not very difficult to cover. The length of the loop is 2.3km (as per the website).

The trees and lake are superb. The trail is pretty easy. There were kids on it who seemed to be having fun. It took us about 30 minutes.

This trail was a nice 2km hike around the lake with a lot of beautiful lookout locations. This trail is more natural with a rougher walk over roots and rocks.

Great little trail that's short, for when you don't want to get too deep into the park. Plenty of pretty views and foliage to see. Has some boardwalks but the trail is uneven and not easy in all places. Exposed roots and climbs make this a moderate challenge. Not a flat trail, but it's broken up with sections of wooden boardwalk over water.

It was a nice, rather short medium to easy trail which goes around the lake. We went to the trail on a sunny Aug 2nd which was very green and beautiful, but as mentioned in some other reviews, I could imagine how breathtaking it could look on an early Oct foliage hunting experience!

This is a reasonably shorter trail around Peck Lake. It is not too difficult and take you all around the beautiful lake with many different vantage points. There are a number of scenic views of the lake. This trail would be a good one to do in the fall with all of the trees changing color and the reflection off the lake. The trail is clearly marked on highway 60 from both directions. The parking lot is large and flat.

A Great Lake with an easy path to navigate. Has many lookouts around the lake with beautiful fall colours all along the way. We went on an overcast day but still had brilliant colours to view. We have never seen much in the way of animals during our trips to Algonquin aside from common squirrels and birds but for the first time ever we saw a roughed grouse on the trail. Or a “chicken of the forest!”, as we called it as it appeared to walk like a chicken lol. A good trail for all ages.
