★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to pop into this place from time to time on my way home from the Supermarket just to see what was on offer and if anything had improved. It never had.
To say the art on offer was a bit 8th grade and amaturish would be the understatement of the century. I honestly thought it was sourced from an old people's home morning class.
The last time I dragged a girlfriend round after a lunchtime pint and remember staring at a peice we couldn't quite figure out - was the subject a human or some hideous creature from the Black Leather Lagoon?
When we got outside she just threw me a confused, quizical look and said nothing. Thirty seconds later she collapsed in fits of giggles that lasted the remainder of the day and just about every phone call since whenever I mention it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little gallery that has frequent show flips so the materials are always changing (fresh)! Worth repeat visits throughout the year, for sure. And there are several "member" shows a year that promote artists in the Comox Valley.The PEG is also attached to the Comox Museum and Archives - which, in itself, is worth the visit. The staff there are FULL of information. It's a super pairing, the museum and the gallery. ??

I promise to renew my membership!! It's an ideal location, sharing with our community museum as well. I'll continue to encourage others to stop by and have a tour - It's a local treasure...as most would agree : )
