★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly a wonderful experience. Could not ask for better guides. While it started out overcast the sun came out and the fish start biting. Never caught so many fish in a day before. If you love being on the water and want to try fishing for the first time this is the guide for you. Knowledgeable and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple buddies and I spent the day Walleye fishing with Paul on Lake of the Woods. What a day, we caught about 80 fish over the course of the day (only kept our limit obviously) and the hospitality was about the only thing that could hold a candle to the fishing action. Paul was on time, wonderfully equipped, totally comfortable quick boat, our day just could not have gotten any better. We're busy organizng some more friends so we can get back out there with Paul as soon as possible. Thanks so much Paul, what a fabulous day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paul was a fantastic fishing guide who clearly has a deep knowledge of the Lake of the Woods and Kenora region.
A bonus for me was when he shared his knowledge of fish behaviour and the seasonal changes in activity throughout the year. As a fishing nerd, I appreciated these insights from a fishing guide.
After we caught our limit of walleye, I asked him to teach me Musky fishing. Paul warned me Musky was a ‘fish of a thousand casts’ yet we pulled one in anyways.
End of the day he filleted and cleaned my fish and I was on my way.
Through and through, a quality fishing experience.
