Paul is one such person. We were essentially between a rock and a hard place because of my husband’s (then) layoff. We were trying to secure a mortgage for our new home. Paul did everything he could to assist us. He listened carefully to our needs, offered guidance, and assisted us in eventually firming up a mortgage at an incredibly low interest rate with Scotiabank. After we confirmed our rate with Scotiabank, the Bank Of Canada lowered their interest rates twice before we our closing date. Both times Paul pushed Scotiabank to get us an even lower rate.
