I was referred to Paul, and within a week he succeeded in having my children returned to me, my ex now pays child support and I have sole custody. Paul is honest, sincere and straightforward. He doesn't make grand promises that he knows he can't keep, he actually cared about me and my case, he told me what to expect and he was right. I highly recommend Paul!

A big appreciation on the final closure in court to my behalf, after all the hard work and negotiations, FINALLY I got my solo custody as permanent care giver that has all rights and discussion for my beautiful child who I thought I will lose for ever. It was nightmare until Mr. Cooper settled the case for me. I will always recommend him as a great family lawyer who will win his client case no matter what .. Paul Coopers office contacted me right away regarding my case asking if I was interested in meeting with Paul to discuss my case. To Date I have not heard back from him or anyone in his office. The other complaints I have read on here are most likely accurate accounts of their situations as I myself just experienced the same. I do not recommend you go with this lawyer as he is unresponsive at best.

I spent over a week searching for a lawyer, called 30 offices in the GTA and no one would take my case due the opposing party’s lawyer (she was absolutely awful). Paul was the ONLY person who took a chance on me. I will never forget what he has done to make sure I was given a fair case. He was able to prove the case beyond any reasonable doubt and I was more than pleased with the outcome. I feel so indebted to him and this team for their hard work. Paul, is such a brilliant lawyer. I am so grateful for his passion, dedication, and professionalism. I sent close to 50-100 emails daily (not exaggerating) and ALL were replied in a timely manner. J	Jazzy Mamani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been working with Alexander Schaefer at Paul Cooper Law for about 4 months now, and he's been absolutely stellar! Alex is not only professional and experienced, but his instincts and personal demeanor are a huge asset to me as a client. Alex takes the time to speak to me regularly, to go over everything so we are on the same page and he actually reads everything I send him. I believe he's not only a real asset to the firm, but is a tremendous support for a very busy team - I think that is the root of many of the previous complaints and poor reviews - having a new associate to the team has eased some of these issues. I certainly think Paul's foresight to expand their team with Alexander will be only more positive and happy clients from here on.
E	Ethan Duprey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed in Paul Cooper's services, interpersonal skills, and ability to find compassion. He didn't work with me on my case, and had his assistant Alex work on my documents and appear in court on his behalf. When attending the case conference, Alex was on vacation (unbeknownst to me) and spoke more about making good connections with the new judge that was shadowing than my case. After the case conference I expressed my disappointment in the outcome and was threatened with being dropped as a client. This was rather upsetting, since I believed I could talk freely and openly to my lawyer about my case and not be punished for simply expressing how I feel. Paul stepped in to Alex's defence and forced me to drop him, stating he would go to court to have himself removed as my counsel and would seek costs if I didn't sign the paper work. This caused additional stress as I then had to go through a dispute process to get my legal aide certificate reinstated (which is still currently pending). Overall a horrible experience and I do not recommend him to anyone.
