★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This agency builds up false hope in people and when those people need help most this agency refuses them service, Which leaves them alone to DIE!!! The people there cannot be trusted, they lie and manipulate their clients. They cause more harm then good. If you are looking for Mental Health Help go somewhere else! They will hurt you and get founding doing so. Do not support them. This might sound like a harsh review, however, they abandoned me in a time of need without any just cause.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good counselling, however very disappointed by the sliding scale charging system. $265 for 1 hr for someone who is currently unemployed is outrageous! This was not disclosed at the time of booking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Berendsen is one of the few specialists in Ontario with expertise in somatic experiencing, NARM, attachment & trauma issues and she’s superb at what she does. Income-based fee scale is so that those with lots of money can help finance those with less; nothing wrong with that! The world would be a better place if more organizations did this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They offer services on a sliding scale based on income. Based on my income, if I did one session a week it would cost me 1/2 if my income.
That's their sliding scale, one half of my weekly income or $400 hour.
That is not a sliding scale that's robbery. I'm middle class, not rich.
I think people should be wary of this. No other person I called was this expensive and the cost cannot be justified at all.
It is clear this person loves money.
