One of the few stand alone party city stores not limped into Canadian Tire due to Covid merger. Inventory on some items are working through supply chain issues and were out of stock.

I just bought a balloon from this store for around 18$ and when I arrived home the balloon seemed like not to be properly tied, so it just emptied and fell down on the floor!!! I called them and the lady even didn’t let me explain what happened, and just said to bring the receipt for exchange or refund!! No excuses and nothing!! Didnt even say sorry!!! I can not drive back 20 minutes for your carelessness. Even a child can tie a ballon. Poor customer service.

Went last week right before the long weekend so I expected some delay but i dont even know what to call this. I waited behind another couple who was getting helium balloons. There was just the two of us in that line. After the couple left the guy behind the counter just up and left, walked right past me to the back without acknowledging I was even there and clearly the only remaining person in line who has been waiting for the past 10 minutes. I wasn't sure if he just left temporarily so I waited another 10 minutes and he never returned. I must've died and became a ghost because of how invisible I was even when standing infront of him. I wasn't able to purchase anything even if I wanted to.

The experience I had last night has really rubbed me the wrong way. After trying to call into the store to confirm stock of a product they said they had online and being forwarded to a voicemail box after the phone wasn't picked up, I went into the store around 8pm (hour before close). Spent about 10 minutes looking for the product the automated site inventory said they had but couldn't find it. When I went to the cash to ask for help, the female-presenting cashier was just unpleasant to interact with. Another cashier and manager (maybe a supervisor?) attempted to help me, determined the product was probably just received and not on the floor yet and asked me to call back the next day (today) to remind the supervisor to pull it out for me. I called back around 12:40 today and was told the supervisor was on lunch and I needed to call back in an hour. It sounded like I was speaking to the same cashier from before, and they made it seem like a big inconvenience to take and relay the message because I would be done MY lunch and wouldn't be able to call back. Finally, called back around 4:45pm trying to confirm that the product was found, had been put aside, and I could come grab it. I was on hold for almost 10 minutes with no answer. Got to the store around an hour later and the same cashier is working. I'm standing in line waiting to speak to them and they call the customer BEHIND me up to the cash because I didn't have product in my hands, completely ignoring me. When I indicated that I had been waiting, the cashier seemed like I was being unreasonable for wanting to be helped, while they had an AirPod in the whole time. While waiting another 10-15 minutes for my product to be grabbed from the back (I guess despite all my calls they hadn't set them aside or pulled them out earlier), I watched the cashier ignore the constantly ringing phone the entire time. There were no customers they were serving during this time and I watched them blow up maybe two balloons instead. In the end, I got my product, but I felt like an inconvenience the entire time with the constant attitude from the cashier. From reading other reviews, unless the whole staff has an attitude problem and issues with professionalism, this one cashier really seems to be bringing the store down.

Although I am happy with the concept of its business model and it makes it easy to throw parties, I noticed two problems that could be done better: 1. impatient, kinda out of mood personnel. 2. the products were not complete and I did not find balloon tape and tying tool.

Today I was at Richmond Hill location looking for super Mario party supplies! The shelves were empty . One of the Employees, Eric, was so amazing and helpful! He searched all the new shipments on the back to bring me all I needed! Couldn’t be happier! Great service!

This party city is smaller than the one at Highway 7 and McCowan. I came here to look for a balloon and the options were not as much compared to the other location but I managed to still find everything I wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful too. They recommended that I order and come back to pick up the balloon within 24 hours of use so it will fly better as they only guarantee they will be plump within 24 hours after filling it up.
