★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shawn provided prompt, courteous, and profession service for our mould inspection. He performed a thorough test of our home and explained all of the results clearly. He also explained remediation options for us. Shawn does not do the remediation himself, avoiding conflict of interest (unlike so many others in the home industries!). We were so happy with his services, will use him again, and give him our highest recommendation.

We hired him since our unit doesn't have a strata and we wanted to be sure of the structure's quality of build and to know what we were getting.
He was very insightful and helpful in identifying things we should get dealt with by the current owners, and setting us up for good home maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not many home inspectors as thorough as Shawn from Pars home inspection is. I hired him for the inspection of our house. His knowledge, punctuality and professionalism was beyond my expectation. He used the latest technology such as thermal imaging and air sample to detect any mold. After the inspection, he explained everything to us and answered all of our questions and concerns with great deal of patience and knowledge, and thanks to him and his comprehensive report, we managed to eliminate our problem at no time. I highly recommend his services to anybody who is purchasing new place or checking their existing place.

He provided me with a great deal of information & insight about this home with a walk through plus a detailed report.
Shawn informed me at the time that this home have an ongoing roof problem, I was able to negotiate the repair cost with the seller which saved me thousands of $ and future headaches.
Shawn knowledge & information about Mold was also great and helped me prevent mold growth in my home. I'm very satisfied I hired Shawn & highly recommend him to anybody who wants to purchase a home. His price and services are excellent.

He responded fast, did a thorough job with quick report turnaround. The price was also very good and competitive. Shawn found the defects including mold and moisture source, tested the drywall for asbestos and identified all the concerning issues. He explained everything to us in details and was very professional and well equipped. We absolutely recommend Pars Home Inspection and are very satisfied with the services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have used Shawn's services twice in recent months. The first was to do an air quality test in our town-house that has a mould issue. Shawn's knowledge base, and his thoroughness were unsurpassed. He has excellent knowledge not only in the science of the issues, but also in construction, building code, etc. He was extremely meticulous in his inspection, and took extra time to help us understand the issues and results of his inspection - he also uses a broad range of cutting edge technology to complete his inspections.
The second time was to have a home inspection done on the house that we just recently purchased. Again, his thoroughness was unsurpassed, and he takes much more time to really inspect everything in depth. Again, his construction knowledge really shows, as he obviously understands what he's looking at and can recommend all sorts of preventative maintenance. I've never seen a home inspector that was even close to the level of detail that Shawn goes into. He took plenty of time to walk through everything in detail with us, and provided an extensive report that was a great help when we purchased home insurance - and gave me a good head-start on some maintenance that the house will need when we move in. We are more than happy with Shawn's work! We are happy to recommend him to everyone.
