Dr. Emily Yurkowski was born and raised in Prince George, British Columbia. After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Northern British Columbia, she moved to Vancouver to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Yurkowski loves working as a dentist in Alberta as the people are very friendly and remind her of home! In her spare time, Dr. Yurkowski likes to cook, spend time with family and friends, and travel. She can always be found challenging herself to a new recipe!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First off after many horrible experiences with dentists I was hesitant about ever going again but after a referral to parmar I'm a believer now. Awesome friendly staff who are patient and helpful. (Even with a kid in the waiting room running around) the Drs are also super friendly and amazing. Dr Dunphy was super nice, friendly, she listened to me when I said I had jaw and nose issues so long sessions would need a break. She did an exceptional with a root canal even with a little complication. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone even nervous patients. Hands down best dentist's!!!
