Parkview Manor

I recently had the pleasure of attending the wedding of the daughter of dear friends, with the reception being held at Parkview Manor. It was my first time being here and I was impressed with the venue and the service. The name, Parkview Manor, suggests something exotic or traditional, maybe like an old mansion. Instead, it was a rather plain looking grey building with a large parking lot, in the middle of an industrial area. It was clean and in good repair but really had no character to it. Stepping inside, however, told a different story altogether. The reception/bar area was a bit small and cramped, making it a little hard for all the guests to move around comfortably. The passed hors d'oeuvres were plentiful, with a decent variety but tasted a bit ordinary. The main banquet room, with the head table, dining tables, and dance floor, was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with intimate lighting. Our meal was very good, maybe even excellent! We started with soup and salad, both served tableside. The main course had a properly cooked piece of salmon, a very tender steak, potatoes, and veggies. Dessert was chocolate mousse tart and creme brulee, served alternately. Other than the dessert being a tad sweet for my taste, the food quality was good. Kudos to our server, who was very friendly, engaging, and efficient! Having worked at one of the top banquet facilities in the GTA for ten years, the food and service here was top notch! If they had an area, indoor or outdoor, for photos, it would be perfect! The wedding, overall, was fantastic! Congratulations, Melissa and Brian!

Great little gem of a venue. Being from Hamilton, i didn’t even know it existed! Staff were friendly and helpful. The venue was beautifully decorated and super organized!

Helped my wife be the day of coordinator for a wedding here. Staff were accommodating and good with execution of our requests. Food was pretty good. They had double meat options like steak and lobster. Ended up quite full. Only drawback is building exterior looks very warehouse commercial.

We attended a wedding here as a vendor (@angelaffectphotobooth) on the 17th. What a beautiful inmate wedding reception. Very clean and friendly staff. Everyone was so helpful and we really enjoyed our time. Thank you for having us!!

Where do I even begin, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everything about the venue and staff was nothing but outstanding! John Q went above and beyond for our wedding day, helped out in any way he could, accommodated all our requests and was prompt in his follow ups. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! The waitstaff were extremely professional and responded to all requests through out the night. They were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The food was delicious; every guest commented on the pasta and filet mignon. Our seafood buffet and dessert table were also a hit. Overall, I can’t think of a single negative thing to comment on. Planning a wedding during Covid was extremely stressful, but I can genuinely say Parkview alleviated all our stress and anxiety. They accommodated our request to change our date and honored our original contract and the original agreed upon pricing! The venue and staff made our wedding day extra special, thank you Parkview for everything!❤️

The most incredible hall and staff. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect night, I can’t even recall one little thing that I can complain about. All of our guests were amazed at the hall, the set up, the staff… I could hardly believe it myself. The food was incredible, such generous portions and insanely delicious. Everything we requested was above and beyond our expectations. Parkview comes with my highest recommendation, I’m so grateful for the effort that was put into making the night a dream come true. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

Our wedding at Parkview Manor was absolutely everything we could've asked for and more! The staff, management and just overall ambiance made our wedding day so special, we are forever grateful. John Q at Parkview was a pleasure to work with. Not only is he knowledgeable, he is caring and really took his time to make us feel welcomed. He took the time to make us feel that our wedding was important and not just another event at the venue - which I think is something all venues should strive for. Planning a wedding during these challenging times posed many difficulties and changes, but John worked with us every step of the way to put us at ease and let us know everything was under control. Our wedding day was beautiful and we are so glad we went with Parkview, hands down the best decision we made. The venue and décor was stunning and met every one of our expectations. All of our guests could not stop raving about the food! Julio and the other service staff were fantastic, they made sure our guests were comfortable and provided top quality service. While we knew everything would taste amazing from our food tasting, we were so pleased to hear that our guests loved the cocktail hour and that the "food did not stop coming!" Our guests meals and late night station were all a hit, everyone was so happy, which is all that we wanted for our day. Without a doubt in our mind, my husband and I highly recommend Parkview Manor to any other couples looking to plan their wedding or any other event... you will not be disappointed. We wholeheartedly recommend Parkview Manor to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue. My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here at the end of July 2021. We were their first full wedding of the year, and everything went perfectly. The staff are amazing, the halls are beautiful, and our guests--our wedding being the first major event for most since the beginning of the pandemic--felt completely safe and taken care of. We booked Parkview Manor in February 2020, having visited over a dozen venues across the GTHA. John Q made us feel completely at ease (no sales pressure unlike most other venues we visited) and had the vision to make our wedding a reality. The rates were extremely reasonable and the amenities were excellent. We booked a few days afterward for a summer 2021 wedding. Then the pandemic hit. Like everyone, we had to adjust to this rolling reality and all the worries and uncertainties it brought. We never had to worry about our wedding at Parkview Manor. I know that if we booked with any other venue, we would be out of luck. John Q and the staff were honest, transparent, and proactive during the entire pandemic. They worked with us to ensure we could still have our wedding, instead of leaving us on our own or playing games. We ended up pushing our wedding back a month; Parkview Manor provided us several options without penalty for rebooking in July and afterward if COVID-19 restrictions required. Our special day could not have gone any better, regardless of whether we were in COVID-19 or before-times. Parkview Manor made this happen.
