Graduated from. Was pretty ok.

Mr. Fitz is god, Roome is Jesus, and Dawe was beyond mortal comprehension.

Dysfunctional. Most of the teachers hated their jobs. For them, it is just an easy job paying bills. They tend to be very unprepared for their classes and just play DVDs during the classes (why don't I just Youtube at home). Moreover, most of the students have serious problems at home, but there is lack of supports and resources to help them. They behave and think like animals, which they have lack of empathy towards their mates.(a LOT of them are also into drugs) The school counsellors do not give a damn about you, they just want to make their jobs as easy as possible; so they can go home watching TV and drinking beer on the couch. Wong was a greedy and hedonsitic money grabber to the Chinese international students; instead of helping and supporting them, he tries to avoid them as much as possible. Potato was a horrible counsellor. He was very irresponsible, unknowledgeable, arrogant, dismissive, and apathy.I wonder if he suffers from Lake Wobegon Effect; so as the big tall dude and rest of the school poplution, as well as, their host families. Most of their homestays struggles with poverty, which they would try to spend as least amount of money as possible on you and even steal some of you things. They also have zero sense of boundray and respect to the students, which they would enter your room without your permission and yell at you as they like. Whenever there are problems come up, the school always assume it is fault of students and choose ignoring the story from students' perspective. You right, the school is located in a hopeless, underdeveloped, pathetic, and isolated tiny town where nobody have a clue what the world look like and always assume they the superior ones. In fact, they are definitely the inferior ones though they have the exact opposite perception.This isn't really a school, since it has failed to fulfill its duty of education. It does not nurture their students into great humanbeings by exposing them to the greatness of the world and the truthness of knowledge, but rather a factory where whole bunch of miserable workers struggleing paying their bills by doing extremely boring and reptivitive tasks, and a forest where the animal-like teens eating each other. The weaker one will always get eat alive without any empathy. Please do yourself a BIG favour and stay away from this animal farm as far as and as quick as you can. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY!!! My suggestion to the school: please CLOSE ITSELF DOWN, it will ABSOLUTELY only do more good than bad to the humankind.

All of you who are writing 1-star reviews need to stop wasting time with your in-class computer lab time and need to use that time more wisely, like actually doing schoolwork. I enjoyed my 4 years here, 2010-14.

I loved my first term here. The staff were amazingly helpful with adjusting to "normal school" after being homeschooled over-seas for the past 8 years and were kind to me. With Covid-19 they have adapted well.

One of the most inclusive and welcoming schools around. The teachers go out of their way to help and welcome new students.
