★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good little beach access! Stairs are a bit weathered with the railing a little rusty and the steps a tad warped but solid and sturdy. Great rocks to clamber over and look at sea creatures if that's your inclination. Saw some crabs, oysters, mussels, limpets. Sand looks vaguely tropical with crushed shells making some of the sand appear white. Looks like just 2 parking spots right by the access though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful 1940s or 50s stone staircase, not many like that anymore sadly. Go see it while you can. Amazing to get a wild Port Renfrew feeling in North Saanich. Go make a donation to BC Parks, North Saanich, or the local First Peoples to help conserve this wonderful public space. All Canadians should be proud to make a place like this accessible to all.
