Toxic Workplace (gossiping, politics and inauthenticity are prevalent across/among staff) covered with charade to depict positive perception/facade. Management are inconsistent, discriminatory and micro/passive-aggressive. They bully/abuse their power/privileges and engage in untruthful/unethical/corrupt behaviours/actions. Narratives, gossips, assumptions and biases are more valuable/relevant in decision-making than conducting thorough investigations to determine the absolute truth.

Managers are the biggest culprits of promoting a toxic workplace (gossiping, politics and inauthenticity) Management is inconsistent, discriminatory and micro/passive-aggressive. They engage untruthful/unethical/corrupt behaviours, and upper management WILL NOT conduct proper investigations of managers. They will ignore staff complaints and allow the toxic behaviours of management to continue. Is it a coincidence that the wage increases were not based on merit (so management wouldn’t have to justify their decisions) and the positions with a majority of minorities got the lowest increases?
E	Elle Elle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to Begin? The PLACE...you feel like you're in a high-end, luxury condo, so elegant, quiet and private...but you can be very sociable too if you're in the mood! Wonderful places in the gorgeous Lobby to entertain visitors. So excited for the Pool to open soon to add to the exercise facilities that already exist, including bowling and golf simulators, treadmills, weights and fitness classes! And a Walking Group too when the weather permits. The STAFF...top of the line courteous, reliable, friendly, professional and I don't think they are ever confronted with a question/need they won't try their best to resolve...at least that has been our experience. The DINING...while we mostly prepare meals at home, the times we've 'treated' ourselves to Parkland Dining have proven to be delicious and the menu offerings are many and they change from week to week, so plenty of variety and great to know if we just don't feel like cooking, we just call and place our order! HEALTHCARE..while we've been lucky enough not to require the healthcare services, we have experienced the way in which Parkland has managed COVID protocols throughout our residence here...and we have felt protected and secure every single day. We think the best measure of how residents of Parkland feel is to just notice all the smiles and good cheer as we come and go...and during the Holidays, even with COVID, it was Very Merry! Hats off to a True Treasure in Toronto!

From upper management to the chefs and cleaners, everyone you interact with are friendly, professional and personable. Working for a moving company that frequents Parkland on Eglinton West, this is by far the best retirement residences!!

I find the people that works at Parkland pleasant to deal with and very helpful. Abigail and Ola have always been very patient, understanding and warm towards my clients during moves. I specialize in helping seniors make their transitions and I recommend Parkland as a potential place for them.

The General Manager is very approachable and helpful, so are the staff reporting to him. The food, since we have a new chef, is innovative and very good. What I personally find very nice is that the Company tries to promote from within thus giving the staff an opportunity for advancement. I am very happy at Parkland and would like to express my thanks to all the staff here.

Under great pressure, especially in the last few years because of the pandemic, everyone has stepped up and together we provide a safe and supportive environment. I feel safe at work. The increased measures not only keep residents safe, but us (staff) as well. The leadership team is approachable and very supportive. They are open to new ideas, provide guidance and are always supportive. If you want to work in a great place with great people, this is the place for you.
