Good class to stimulate interest in Mandarin Chinese! I really enjoyed!

Great Programme! The handouts are excellent and make it easy to follow up what is being said. Very interesting mode of teaching which is fit for anyone. I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing! My teacher also speaks French. He knows exactly what is the hardest difficulty for a French Canadian to learn Mandarin. The class was motivating. I highly recommend Pandarin.

Nelson Mandela said, "without language, one cannot talk to people and understand them, one cannot share their hopes and aspiration, grasp their history, and appreciate their poetry, or savour their songs". Through Pandarin Education and its founders, I was able to grasp the most basic foundation of the Mandarin language (and the hardest for some, including me), pronunciation. I attended the first free workshop this May when I was invited by Miao Dong (Mason), whom I knew and met through the UBC Tandem Language Learning Program last October 2017 – because he learned of my language learning history again when we introduced ourselves in the beginning of the workshop, Miao Dong was able to personalize how he should teach me the pronunciation for ü and I was really thankful for it. In that free workshop, I learned more than just basic pronunciation with the new knowledge and better understanding of Pinyin. Pandarin Education is honest and generous in the advice and resources they give and it is greatly appreciated by someone like me who wants to commit and be serious to learning Mandarin. I am a self-proclaimed polygot (a lover of languages) and only learned (basics of) language by myself through forms of entertainment: television and music and language apps here and there, but I admit that those methods of learning was sporadic more than constant and serious learning. It eases my mind that Pandarin exists since learning a language is actually more efficient when learned together with experts of fluent speakers of the language (because then it will be easier and more convenient when practicing for conversation skills too!). tl;dr, Instead of spending money for a beginner Mandarin class at your college/school, I highly suggest attending Pandarin Education classes and knowing this fact for yourself. Kudos and more power to Pandarin and it's founders for creating a company like this and reaching out to people like me!

太好了. My class was very organized and helpful. My teacher was always available to answer questions over wechat and did not mind staying after class to continue the lectures. It is a great option for anyone who wants to learn Chinese in Vancouver.
