Beautiful vistas of true native prairie. An incredible place. Most of these pics taken from their awesome bike hiking trails.

Ok here is my experience with this provincial park... My husband planned a very nice weekend for our family. First of all, we are OLD FASHIONED CAMPER, which means we camp with TENT and cook our food on a fire pit... This place a noticed there are a lot of trailers, boats, I guess for this Type of campers, this place is a fit. On August 18, 2020 we reserved a spot for us to camp on August 22,2020. So far so good... However, on August 21,2020 they had a FIRE BAN in that area. AND WE WERE NOT NOTIFIED!!! We arrived there all packed up , hungry and excited to start to cook and be by the fire. We were ready for CAMPING!! They said we could not set the fire up for cook or anything...? Image this situation... They really DIDNT care about us at all!!! Luckily we found a place there to buy some food. It was an awful experience. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. It should be a pleasure moment for us, but because of the disregard provided by the administration of this park, everything turned upside down. We ended up camping in the other day at PIKE LAKE!

Quiet camping place with beautiful views of the lake. Most of the campsites are occupied by trailers with a few good spots for tent campers. Great place for fishing, golf and trails. Shower facilities are clean.
