★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mt Baldy in Sorrento is my go-to hike. It is a good little hike that isn't too challenging, but will definitely give a good workout. It also has a fantastic view from the top. I love the Aspen Side loop ... it adds a bit more distance (making the hike a total of about 8km) and the aspen Grove is stunning to walk through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for an early season hike and found this on Shuswap Trails. Well built trail with a reasonable grade. Just under 8 km return to the lookout with the Aspen loop in the mix. Took us about 2 1/2 hrs with a snack break at the top. Nice view at the top and a couple along the way. Good for dogs too! No facilities so go potty before you head out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slightly less known place it seems. It's sometimes referred to as one of the Balmoral trails, so I'm not sure the correct name. There's a little parking lot with in between some residences near a train track. You can get to the peak in about 1.5 hours and because of the switchback style trails, it's not difficult. Wonderful view at the top.
