Amy is absolutely amazing! She has taken my pup Frankie on many adventures and sends me photos and updates when I'm missing her. She's one of the only people I trust to look after her when I'm gone. As soon as Frankie sees Amy she lights up with overwhelming happiness. I always know she's in good hands. Very, very highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good things about Amy and Pacific Dogwood Dogs Adventure Walks. Amy has been walking my girl Ruby since Nov 2021. I had recently moved out to the Langford/Metchosin area and was looking for care for my pup. Ruby, my 18 month golden lab, had been in daycare most of her young life but I was beginning to think a pack hike was the way to go. We hike on the weekends and I know she loves to run in the outdoors. I was nervous as she wasn’t really left alone during the workday before. I thought I would try a mix of daycare and hikes but it didn’t work out with the daycare. After pouring through the different local dog walker websites and social media I finally settled on Amy because of how happy her dogs looked in the pictures on her Facebook page and Website! At our meet and greet it was clear she was in this for the love of the pups. Right away I could tell Amy was very caring and attentive to Ruby to make sure she was feeling safe and at ease with her new doggy friends. She was careful to make sure she was ready to be off leash. The daily updates and pictures let me know how much fun they have every day. It didn’t take long for Ruby to adjust and now I am confident to leave her at home alone. Amy is professional, kind, attentive and caring. We are so happy to be part of her pack and look forward to many years ahead! Thank you Amy!!

Our now 1 year old rescued lab was too hyper for 3 different doggy daycares ? I found Amy’s business card and she came over right away to meet him and introduce Lola to him. Doug LOVES both ladies!!! He is with her all day, she supports and works with us continuously on his separation anxiety and his puppy manners. With her help he has an amazing recall, is amazing off/on leash and is so very well socialized. I could go on and on about how amazing her service is but I’m running out of space. Amy is absolutely amazing with my dog Apollo! He has his little routine now where he knows the days he gets to go on his hikes… and you can tell he is super excited for them! She sends pictures after each walk, so you can see the amount of fun the pack has together! I also love that she works on his training a bit when they are out together and it isn’t just one big puppy free-for all! You can definitely trust Amy with your four legged besties, and I definitely recommend her services to anyone in the Westshore area!

Amy is beyond amazing! She is so kind, gentle, and is compassionate with every dog she has under her care! We love having her as our leader for Panda Bear. We love what she does with the dogs, taking them on daily adventures. Panda always comes home happy and tuckered! We love hearing updates and photo updates of her hikes! We have been sending our pup with Amy for a few months now and we LOVE her!! Amy is so loving and patient with our pup and he always comes home super tired after being out with her. I love how Amy sends photos of your dog on the hikes so you can see them having a blast live in action! Would highly recommend Amy to anyone!

Pacific Dogwood Dogs Adventure Dog Walking service is absolutely one of the best decisions that I have made for my high energy Aussie-Doodle, King Louis. When Louis first met Amy and Lola (her nurturing Golden Retriever) he instantly fell in love, continuous bum wiggles and all. Louis first started his adventures walk with Amy when he was 7 months old and now considers Amy apart of his pack. He would wait eagerly at the door for Amy to arrive for his walks, and even howled for her by the window in anticipation. Amy always greets Louis with the same loving energy but creates calm and implements structure so he can calm down before his big adventure. Louis always comes back from his walks with big smiles, tail wagging, and completely tuckered out. You know the Confucius quote “Choose a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life”? Well, I swear Amy lives by it! You can easily tell by how she handles the dogs, and how she passionately talks about the dogs that this is not just a job for her. I also use her for boarding, and she has formed such a bond with Louis that I am completely at ease during my travels. Louis always throws a fit until he sees he’s going to Aunty Amy’s house. Then he doesn’t even look at me when he dashes into Amy’s arms. I may get a “Okay, bye!” bark from him, but that’s about it! There was also an incident where Louis had a terrible experience at a Doggie Daycare. He was crying at even a moderately raised voice, flinching at every movement, and barking aggressively at any male pass-byers in hats. Amy saw that my little guy was struggling and took him on an extra walk to lift his spirits. He had a full day of doing what he loves, playing with dogs, hikes, and hanging out with Amy. Such an act of kindness! By the end of the day, my little guy was already on the path to normalcy. If you are thinking of Pacific Dogwood Dogs, I would stop and ask myself this, “How happy do I want my pup to be on his walks”? And if your answer is, “Living their best life!”, then I would not hesitate to pick up the phone and book a “meet and greet” today.
