Pacific Academy

This school really cares about our learning but maybe a little to much. There are many reflection and they focus so much on core competencies. The students can be very rude sometimes..but that is life. The cafeteria is SUPER over-priced, in my family going to cafeteria is a treat! The teachers really care though...they teach many important things that we will need in life, such as life skills and communication and social skills. The math curriculum is very behind and we learn the same thing over and over until high school. It is an okay school overall.

grade 9 the school is pretty good when you ACTUALLY GET EDUCATED. However, in grade 8 it's completely useless. You don't learn anything because you have teachers who copy and paste every single private comment and don't even check your work. The teachers don't even have degrees, if I ever turn homeless I can literally become a grade 8 teacher without a degree as long as I'm white and christian.

The school has good education and most of the teachers are nice. I wouldn't give it a 5 stars cause the cafe is a rip off and you aren't allowed to wear jackets/hoodies in class.

The school is very biased, They think they have the right to violate your privacy I do not recommend the school. Good reps don’t mean good educational environments. I was accused of many things I did not do and that took a huge negative affect on my well-being. There are some good people But in my opinion as a nine year attending student, I would not recommend the school.

Pacific Academy is a great school with amazing teachers and education. However, despite me giving it 2 stars (I'm being very nice), there are things that I really do not like about this school. 1. My Intermediate school principal was inexperienced, focusing on the worse part of a 2-sided argument and letting them go. They also refuse to listen to both sides of the story. I had gotten into an argument and told them what the other person said to me and called me, and my response was "So?" 2. The school has permission to spy on your devices and check through your personal files without consent, which you are forced to agree with due to the Code of Conduct. They have gotten one child that I know of this year and got them in trouble for PERSONAL BUSINESS 3. The school constantly spies on us. This has happened on 4 platforms: hangouts, Instagram, TikTok, and discord, where they spy on our conversations. But guess what? They're allowed to do so due to the Code of Conduct. Keep in mind that PA is full of minors, with at least half being women (I'm a boy myself). 4. Heavy amounts of feminism. A girl's word will be taken higher than a boy's, a girl's word will be the only one said first, the teachers will constantly try to make the girls beat the boys, and give worse punishments to boys and when girls do it, it's fine. I've had grades decreased from my gender as a boy :P 5. The education is horrible However, there are definitely some pros that convince me to put this at 4 stars. The staff is very friendly and always encourages you. The education is well taught. Now, I can hear you say "The math sucks!" This is true.... up to High School. Many people don't realize that High School's math programs are a lot better than PS-MS. It's still a shame that we're learning exponents in Gr. 8 tho. The part that I focus on is that Pacific Academy is not only a Christian school, but is very Christ-centered. Most of the kids that move to "better" schools like Fraser Heights secondary don't realize how important and Christ-centered school is. They let you learn about God and his amazing ways, and let you feel free to worship and pray with each other. True Christians would realize how much this matters. TL;DR Pros: Christ-centred Super friendly staff Good education (other than math tho....) Diversity Welcoming Cons: SOME inexperienced staff (not all) Allowed to check devices and personal info without consent Allows themselves to spy on your social media platforms

im in grade 8, and it's ok but..... the caff is WAY too expensive, we don't learn much, teachers take sides in friendship fights, they get into your business, they have favorites, they take away class points for getting distracted when THEY WERE THE ONE DISTRACTING US! i mean like, WHAT?! unfair!!

Nice school, its only my first year and already I met people that are toxic and non friendly. People say mean things about this school and God. I thought that this school will give me a better understanding with God but I dont think so. Or maybe its just the grade im in. cafeteria is kinda overpriced, but some people there are really nice and im glad i met them. the teachers and staff and EAs are helpful. :))))))

Great if you got never ending income. Horrible place for actual education. My opinion if you want to actually pursue a degree go to a Public School within Surrey. Yeah it’s full of students some not so friendly BUT, it’s a learning experience. This school creates Christian snowflakes and does not provide real world situations and learning from them. There’s no education here just a bunch of adults picking favorites and accusing you of many things. They don’t create sound individuals they create mental health problems.
