Very, Very expensive parking. How can they justify charging over $21 for 1:40Hrs of parking time.

Ridiculously expensive parking to fund the most incompetent airport authority in Canada. Went to meet a family member for a drink before a flight. Parking for 2 hours was over $32. Insane. Their high parking rates have created terrible congestion on the roads around the terminal and backups in and out of the cell phone lot. Short sighted and poorly run. YYC’s board of directors needs to be fired ASAP.

Beyond disgusted at the unbelievably ridiculous parking rates. This amounts to unmitigated greed. Another reviewer made some excellent points about how ridiculously expensive the parking is and the consequences of these astronomical prices, and I wholeheartedly agree with all the points he made. My disgust is shared by many and extends to parking all over Calgary and specifically downtown where I no longer go to restaurants and other businesses because I cannot justify the parking expense that ruins the experience. This reckless and narrow-minded approach is seriously hurting Calgary businesses and the city as a whole. This is truly unfortunate and has left me with a very negative opinion since this experience ruined a rare opportunity I had to meet my brother at the airport who had a layover in Calgary that allowed us to meet for lunch. I never thought my parking would cost more than our lunch. 2 hours and 9 minutes cost me $35.65. I called to confirm that the charge was not a mistake and was very impressed by the professional and very courteous gentleman I spoke with who explained the rates and when I shared my opinion and shock about the charge, he said he gets a lot of calls like this. I truly appreciate how he handled the call, that must be a tough job responding to irate callers. I guess with those rates they can afford topnotch support and I want to give credit where credit is due. In future I will no longer park at the terminal but rather pay half as much at one of the other parking services that would have cost me $13.95 for the whole day. The moral of the story is that people need to stop supporting these services and soon they will have to change.

It offers covered parking for my vehicle in case there is a hail storm, and is only $27.95 per day, just steps away from the airport. For some reason, people are bashing on the prices, but there is not a single airport in the world that has cheap parking. They chose not to use the economy lot which is $14 a day for only a 7 minute walk, and instead try to justify their laziness, both in their disregard for the clearly posted parking signs and the 7 minute walk. If it's too expensive for you, don't park there. If you park there knowing well how much it costs, then don't complain. I don't see the issue. Nobody forced you to park here?
