Lots going on, good & bad. Staff are very patient, tolerate. Thumbs up to the staff, they put up with alot. Treat them with respect & you'll get it back. Easy concept.

Some very helpful workers, and I was shocked by the fentanal zombies , I found it sad. I really hope that Victoria can solve the situation there. I think more pharmaceutical opiates could be a start. Good luck ? ?.

Good place to eat if you are homeless or struggling but stay away if you have past drug addictions

The center is providing all facilities for the homeless people. But be careful, a homeless person stole my wallet with passport, cellphone and some cash.

I went to an Orientation for volunteers at Our Place on Tuesday. They had a slide show presentation which lasted 100 minutes, then he walked us through the place. Our Place is an open door place for anyone 19+ who would like a meal, a place to hang out, lodging, a shower, clothes and more. My uncle used this place before, and I feel like they are really doing wonderful things for people in society who are down and out of our minds. Our Place relies on 55-60 volunteers a day to keep things rolling smoothly. Maybe they'll call me for help. I let them know that I have experience being a delivery driver.

The Our Place Society is a Fantastic place. they've got structured set up to protect themselves and the people within people. There are so good with people and they help as many as they can, unfortunately some of the people they're trying to help push the opposite direction. The staff remains calm structured a persistent to the rules. I do feel that it's sad that "covid guidelines" have restricted the flow of people and I also believe that covid itself and guidelines have made various places staff members less likely to actually keep better things without employment place covid has allowed Society to become lazy and content with 1/2 people volume because that's easier to clean up it's easier to set up and it's easier to deal with so. hopefully soon places of the world can just get back to normal and in my opinion except covid for the, very deadly cold it is that's not going to go anywhere, vaccinated people in Myrtle the people we can just get back to normal and do things like we used to. Regardless the our Place is great place, absolutely great, they feed everybody, no if ands or buts and always welcome, always a smile always helpful, great people, I was away for 3 years and not a lot of the staff Remains the Same aside from select few . I think it's a shame that the staff has changed over, I miss the old staff .. but it is the same structure, same rules, same leniency, they're great people they try to help everybody and anybody that comes to them seeking help and if they can't they will direct you to who can, they will track person down or pause what they're working on because sometimes the people that are trying to help wander away while awaiting that are requesting help and assistance bottom line our place Society is a great place in thinking about donating to him absolutely anything because anything they get they put back out unlike Catholic churches to keep 60% of everything they pull in from the public. That kind of slipped out but I'm leaving it in there have a great day and a good New Year I think that Catholics should take that 60% that they get for a 10 years put it back into every single one of the reserves, fund schools building them if there isn't one available there! they should also fund books, fund Transportation, fund computer supplies I think the Catholic Empire in Rome Vatican should be responsible for re-educating is it least at offering for what they did and hid thinking it would just simply go away for so long they need to pay for everything. If the pope could hang out at your place Society for a while he might see what helping actually is rather than just the wave in your hand and sitting in a multi-million dollar mansion. But anyways hey that's my thoughts maybe not necessarily yours bottom-line the Our Place Society is a great place, I'm like to the Catholic church or the Empire called Vatican Rome whatever our place Society put 100% of what they get back to the people on top of that they put in long hours and they put up with a lot of bull deep calmly and politely!! and then they show up the next day and do it again the next day. Never failing to open never failing to support. Great people great place can't say enough good things about it some might complain let me be there not looking at the big picture. Lot of people deal with issues on The Daily faces and struggles to survive in cold and cope with their realities. Have a great night hope you had a good Christmas and have a wonderful New Year

5 star dining and coffee experience just outside of the heart of the beautiful Victoria BC. Everyone is so darn friendly there and the service is outstanding. Seems everyone just wanted to give us stuff and for that we were so grateful but we had all we needed with the great atmosphere and amazing food. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience.
